Tried this place for the first time on 3/2/2024 and was not impressed.Upon entering, no one welcomed us and told us to sit anywhere. We just walked around aimlessly until finding a table. Once our waitress, who was very nice, greeted us and got our drinks, she got the wrong pop for me. Once corrected, we never got refills. Food was also not very good. I wanted the walleye sandwich, but got the dinner interested. Fries were bland and tasteless and the walleye was bland and greasy. Salad was basically a head of lettuce, 1 tomato slice, 1 cucumber slice, and some cheese. The cottage was good. When the check came, there was a charge for 2 pops, but that was quickly fixed.

Came here for my wife's birthday. Kinda slow for a Saturday night just after 5:30. Got seated right away. Our server was not long behind our seating and we had appetizers of their cheese stuffed ravioli with marinara sauce. The were delicious but the star of the show was their marinara sauce. So flavorful I could buy a gal. Of it if I could. Then we ordered their perch dinner with broccoli salad and baked potato and the chicken with shrimp.and fries. Both dinners were delicious and juicy. Plenty to take home also. We didn't have any room for dessert. You have to go here if you want good food and drinks.

Great cozy local pub with restaurant area. Many locals eat here regularly. we had a couple different meals that were fantastic! We will return.

The food was once really good until the previous owners retired and sold the restaurant. Once new management took over, they changed a number of menu items and a few suppliers. As such, the quality of the food took a nosedive due to the changes. The staff are still good, and the bartender is very personable and entertaining.
