Decided to try a new Mexican restaurant. This place was ok. I ordered the pollo vallerta and the shrimp was delicious! The chicken was a little dry. The ensalada was great. The rice was ok. My husband got the chile relleno and he absolutely loved it.We always order one tamale at every Mexican restaurant we go to. Some are winners and most are losers. Their tamale was my least favorite. To me it had a playdough taste. The rice had a similar taste.The free chips and salsa was good. Unfortunately they didn't offer a second basket of chips with salsa while we waited on our food.I'd possibly go back just to eat those yummy little shrimps again but other than the shrimp, no thanks.

I usually get the corn tacos. El Camino Real #3 has been around for many years. I've seen other Mexican restaurants with good food come and go. However, this El Camino restaurant Is the most consistent. If you're looking for some tasty Mexican food. Check them out. This is authentic!

My travels landed me in Elkhart and I wanted to see the Mexican restaurant scene in the area and I was highly impressed with this business. I first want to say, the waitress Itzel and the whole staff was extremely friendly environment. The for the food it was delicious, I had had a chicken burrito with rice and beans. I recommend this restaurant if you want true Mexican dishes; the food taste just as I remember when I traveled to Mexico!!

I’ve ordered flautas from here in the past and no issues from my daughter, but now they are prepared w all veg inside. Management did NOTHING to help situation. I called and she was argumentative and I won’t order from here again.
