First time going here and let me say it is FANTASTIC!!!! Nico helped me and he has it figured out there. Friendly to talk to and his food has a freshness that I’ve yet been able to find until today. I definitely recommend coming here and giving them a try. It’s a small business so if they get busy might have a little wait but the quality is unparalleled.

Very generous portions. Plenty of onions and feta cheese. Could use more Kalamata olives and pepperonccinis . The tzatziki sauce is whipped and has a great mouth feel, but I was wanting more acid in the sauce. I’d go back again to get my gyro fix satiated.

I don't claim to be an expert on gyros, but I've had my fair share and I truly love them. This is hands down the best gyro I've ever had. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The pita was soft and fresh. Just enough onions and sauce without overpowering the meat. I've been meaning to come here for awhile and sorry that this was my first time. I'll be back!

George's is almost a weekly stop for the family. Always good food and great service. I highly recommend the gyro plate or a gyro wrap you can't go wrong with either.

The place is about 7 mins from my house and I have passed by it many times. I bought 2 gyro plates and was very disappointed. It’s like they served me all the leftover gyro scraps, no long pieces, just the scraps. The meat wasn’t even warm and they were far from generous with their portions and that’s putting mildly. Definitely not worth it when it comes to the gyro plate. I may or may not come back and give it another try. I definitely will not order the gyro plate again.

Haven’t been there in a very long time. Ppl would talk very highly of them. Definitely not good with food prep couldn’t get a taco that was supposed to be a special. Took along time to get our order. Fries and meat were cold. I could have let all of that go. But While waiting for food I was looking at what is on the walls that has dust on items 1/2” thick. Place is extremely dirty. Trim walls ceiling fans ceiling vents pop machine so disgusting. Looks like nothing has been cleaned in years. Not hard to keep up with cleanliness if constant.

There is inconsistency in the service and food prep. It appears that their friends get better service

Went to George's 11am on Tues 11/29, they were not open. No one answered door or answered the phone, waited 10 minutes. No way to do business. Past visits food was good, service was slow.

So happy that we have a place in Elkhart that serves crispitos! They are even better here than what we had in school - cheese is optional but not mandatory to enjoy the flavor. The salsa is the perfect dipping sauce. Nice thick cut fries remained crispy even after having to get them home to eat them. The burger was also great!
The young lady behind the counter and the owner at the grill provided great customer service as the place was relatively busy. They stayed in good spirits and handled the crowd well. Always a good experience at George's!

We hadn’t been to George’s in a long time and what we use to remember was “it was the best place “ to get a good gyro!! Well, today we go in and NOONE was there and yes, that was a REDFLAG but we took our chances….Now we know why it was empty inside. Ordered our food, get our food and my husband looks at his gyro with little to no gyro meat, same with mine so we ask to get a little more and the girl says it was like $12 that’s almost as much as one meal like for real!! And the way she said it was rude.
We begin to eat and the meat has no taste, the rib tips are gritty and tasted old like it was in the fridge for over a week. Then I take a bite of my gyro bowl with a ton of sour cream on it to have it taste like spoiled milk. I was so grossed out that I didn’t eat any of it. It smelled like vomit. We were so disappointed!! Never going there again. We will drive to Mishawaka to get a good gyros from now on!
