Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

First thing is that the bar decor doesn't show mexica..you have a pallet wall, country metal tin walls and ceiling tile on walls as well. One big thing is the tables are sticky and nasty in the bar area..

Really great service. I ordered the three fresh pork tacos. The poblano cream sauce is really good. Definitely a favorite.

It's a slow Thursday night and the waitress hasn't brought refills, chips or even checked on us in 20 minutes....its my mom's birthday on top of it all.....Id say they could do better but they never do.

They should bring your water out when you are seated with the chips like they used to do. We sat there for 10 minutes, waiting for our chips and drinks.Service was bad. I ordered a taste of hacienda ground beef taco salad, ground beef chimichanga, and a chicken wet burrito to spit with my husband . I ended up getting a chicken Chimichanga. I ate it because the service was bad at the Elkhart Hacienda. I didn’t want to wait any longer. This is the second time the service has been bad. I will not be going back for a third time.

My sister in law came in to the elkhart hacienda and ordered an arriba margarita, the last pour had a bug in it. The manager came to the table and told her she would discount the food and take the drinks off. They got the bill and it wasnt discounted for any of the food. They also waited over an hour for the food and 30 mins before they had any service. Come on hacienda, you can do better.

Absolutely disappointing experience. I’ve been coming here for years, used to work at this location, and I came back to town and had THE WORST experience ever here. I wish I could say that I was surprised, but this has been a long time coming ad their standards have fallen every time I return.

It took 10 minutes to be greeted (we sat in the bar seating area section), server walked by our table multiple times after telling us she’d bring more chips to collect checks and count her tips, and the food and service was not up to standard.

After my parents food was likely ready to be brought out (wet burritos), the server came back to tell me and my friend that the kitchen was out of steak (in both of our orders) and so we had to find something else to order. 5 minutes after we order new meals, my parents food comes out, plates barely warm to the touch still (why we believe they were done when she came to tell us they were out of steak). By the time they have finished eating, the new food comes out. They had to comp my food truck tacos that I got all chicken (yet they gave me every variety of sauce as if I had all the different tacos) because they were dry - the chicken, the tacos, and i had to pull the shells off of the taco rack they had warmed onto.

And then the manager obviously did not care that the entire experience was bad for us beyond the wait on the food. As soon as we started to express discontent, she shut down and could not handle hearing the criticism of the restaurant as a whole and wanted to blame it just on the restaurant “testing out a new steak” that they didn’t have enough of (on a Friday night??)

Service was horrible. We had to ask our waitress multiple times for things, and ended up having to get another waitress and manager before we got them. Finally after an hour, we got our food and it was Luke warm. Could tell it had been ready and sitting for a while
