Not being from the area we wanted a decent place to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed to leave. The staff is very pleasant as soon as you walk in. The prices of food was very filling and not as expensive as would have expected for the portion sizes. One thing is for sure, if you're looking for a great friendly atmosphere for breakfast and lunch that will fill you and not break the bank, Mayberry Cafe is the place.
This cafe truly takes you back to the classics—the wallpaper, the menu, the Andy Griffith theme. I’m pretty sure the owner was working as the host the day I had brunch there, which was nice to see! The service was plenty quick, even during a lunch rush. I had the cinnamon French toast and it was not only priced reasonably, it tasted delicious! I got the beef melt on rye and my sister got the chicken salad melt on rye. \nThe menu is very large with so many options!\n\nThe sandwiches came with cream of broccoli soup which was delicious.\nEverything was so well cooked. \n\nThe decor and atmosphere is wonderful. \n\nRosalyn our waitress was so attentive and friendly.
