Went for the wood fire oven pizza. Was told they only do the pizza on certain days. When I asked which days I was basically told when they feel like it. There is no specific days and no way to know unless you show up and ask. We started the meal by asking for a drink menu and ordering calamari. We where told there was no drink menu just order what ever you like. If it was me I would know what I want but my wife like trying new things at places so we just ordered coffee and tea....
And suddenly, I felt like I was in downtown Chicago! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The sign outside to Bruno‘s Pizza, home of the 24 inch pizza but don’t be fooled. It was just OK. Nothing special or to write home about. When bread wasbrought, there were only two pieces. There was one for me and one for my friend. When we asked for more bread, two pieces were brought again. My friend stated that there is normally a basket full of bread.
