CLOSED BEFORE CLOSING HOURS,BLESS THERE HEARTS
Hyde never heard of "Raise the Roost" before, but it was the only option besides 7-Eleven roller dogs at the Travel Plaza. And I don't do roller dogs.
I ordered a chicken/egg/cheese biscuit, and my husband had chicken breast & thigh with two little cornbreads. The whole bill was about $13, which I thought was quite reasonable for the amount & quality of food we received. And the attendant who served us ( I believe his name was Herb) was all kinds of personality! He was professional, welcoming, quick-witted, & downright jovial!
My sandwich was Goldilocks-perfect. Biscuit was crispy & tender, not dry (a difficult balance to achieve in "fast food.") The egg was good & hot, and the chicken tender was surprisingly large, with an excellent meat:breading ratio. Hubby's chicken breast & thigh were truthfully a bit too greasy, but he said they were meaty, moist & flavorful. All in all, a satisfying meal for a very reasonable cost.

Store says it’s open at 5:00am, went in around 5:35am on 11/18/33 and was told the store wasn’t open yet. Truck drivers often plan stops around food options, I certainly did. Either google or the worker is wrong, fix it.
Worst place ever. They can't cook and easily offended when asked politely to make another. Biscuit dry and falling apart with hard edges. I told her the egg was burned and she got mad and walked away. After remaking the biscuit she threw it on the counter and never said a word until I just seen it sitting there. Rude and disgusting place.

Breakfast burritos were made with love!
This was our first time at Raise the Roost. The prices are fair . My husband enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich.I had the chicken biscuit, there wasn't enough chicken to cover the biscuit but it was very tasty.Generous with sauces. We would stop again.
My friend said it was the best breakfast chicken sandwich she had ever had. I questioned her judgment... be sure to have something to drink. My sandwich was over 2 hours old based on the time stamp. Perhaps they are better fresh.
