I am 65 yrs old, walked in (it was just me), found a seat, then proceeded to try to understand the menu. Finally, when the waitress (heavily pregnant) came, she was explaining this goes with that, you can swap this for that, it just became even MORE confusing. I wanted to try the biscuit & gravy, so I ordered a egg, sausage link, and it came with 1 pc of toast. I ordered a half order of biscuit & gravy. I didn't want potatoes so she told me that I could have fruit, grits, & something else. Anyways I just told her that I would have grapes. I also had oj, but no one came to ask if anything was needed at any time. I waited around a few min, but I had a appt at 9, so at 8:45, I had to go. Here's what I'm unhappy about several things: 1) no one came to check if I needed anything 2) I never received a tab/check but when I went up to pay, no one asked if everything was ok. 3) at that point I told the cashier that I took 1 bite of my biscuit & gravy, and the biscuit was not done, it was VERY doughy. She said "well did you tell your waitress?" I told her no that I hadn't seen her after she had brought my food. I then said "well I have to go now I have a appt at 9:00". I asked her if they offered senior discounts, she then told me that, no they don't do that. I don't feel like I should've been charged for the biscuit & gravy bcuz as I said, I took 1 little bite because the biscuit was doughy. My total bill was $16.21!!!! (Yes I kept my receipt) I was beyond shocked. I go all over Elkhart for breakfast and this restaurant was the highest. That was the 1st time I'd ever been there. I was so so disappointed. You definitely let me down, I didn't want anything special, bu

If you want places like this to survive, you need to keep the place hopping! The weather is nice enough to stand outside and wait for a seat.
Parking: In general it is not too hard to find a spot to park. If it’s extremely busy inside, parking is a bit more difficult to find.

This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever been to My wife and i decided to try this place out Sunday most of the time we go to Angel's in Goshen but because of the parade we couldn't get in so we went to this place we got there about an hour before they closed they had already closed half the dinning area and had us all packed into one side while we were there they dragged garbage through the dinning area the cooks were speaking Spanish so loud we couldn't hear each other the wait staff were unfriendly the portions cost more and were half the size of Angel's and my stomach has been messed up since I ate there I'm thinking about calling the health department on them I'd go anywhere but here

We attended 8am Mass with 3 grandkids, + 3 adults. We walked in & asked for a table. She quickly set us up. They offer a Senior meal - over 60 that is a perfect portion. My daughter ordered the banana split waffle with all the yummy toppings, which she shared with the grands for their pancakes. They shared their sausages. My husband is the only one with leftovers- he ordered an omelet. I used the leftover for 4 tortilla wraps the next day. Great small family owned diner!

Service is basically non-existent, food is good, but pretty standard and smaller portions than most of the local restaurants. Restaurant could definitely use a makeover, it feels rather cold (not temperature) and uninviting.

I used to have this as a strong 4-star. But we went last Sunday for breakfast and I saw the cooks ( yes both) grab the food with their bare hands, no gloves. Pulled trash out wiped stuff down, scratched their heads, and did not wash them afterward. So glad I hadn't ordered yet, turned and left.
