Food was just mediocre. The salsa was the worst my wife ever had

I have been here at least five times
Service, perfect, 10 food, perfect ten. Environment perfect ten. This last time I was here, I took my grandson and my son.
Waitress brought coloring books and crayons for my grandson.
It's family own. You definitely can tell that it's an amazing place, don't miss out?

I wasn't sure what to expect with Rico's, if I'm being completely honest. Being new to the area, my partner and I have been looking for spots to become staples in our routine, and that is what we were doing when I came across Rico's. Reviews online were good and the menu looked decent too (especially the prices!!!) Pulling up, it was smaller on the outside than I had expected, but once we were inside, space was not an issue at all. We got the pierogis as a starter, which were a 9/10 in my book. They were THE perfect texture. For entrees, I got the Pasta Aglio e Olio with Chicken and my partner got the Dog Burger. Both were very decent! I think the best things about Rico's, however, was the service and the prices. Our server was incredibly nice and always kept our drinks full. Unlike a lot of places in Elkhart, I found the prices to be extremely affordable, but the food to still be of good quality. All in all, we'll definitely be coming back!!

Food is amazing

If I could gift a best salad award to any place in Elkhart, it would be a tie between Rico’s and their sister restaurant, Michael’s. Hands down they both have the biggest salads with most diverse and delicious toppings in town. And don’t even get me started on their blue cheese dressing! Gah! To die for!

This tiny little hole in the wall was a lesson in not judging a book by it's cover. We walked in and I said to Kitten that I think we'd been bamboozled. Kitten wanted to give it a go and boy are we glad we did. The decor was that of an old diner/bar. There were only a few booths, but we were able to sit at one. Then we saw the menu, wow, great selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads and even a few entrees that piqued our curiosity. It was a late lunch though and we went with burgers. The food was great, the service was even better. We'd highly recommend Rico's for good eats.

I have enjoyed dining at Rico's for a couple years...always great food, amazing service, and never feel rushed when chatting with ftiends. I am a huge fan of the fish basket...their slaw is my absolute favorite in Elkhart!! Apple walnut salad is my next favorite item.

Stopped in for a trip down memory lane. My wife used to eat here with "High School" friends. Our service was exceptional, food was good and the atmosphere was clean.

Run don't walk for your next meal at Rico's! We have been twice and both meals have been superb. Amazing, service, price and quality of food. Since 2020 two of our best dining out experiences!

Super tasty food!

Walking in it reminded me of all the times I went to restaurants as a kid, I was sold from the moment I saw the paper table mats and the pictures of food here on Google!

The staff was awesome, quick, and very nice.

Food was awesome we had the pierogies, chicken bacon ranch wrap, and the fish basket.

It was a joy to see I got to choose the fish type as I LOVE walleye. The coleslaw that came with it was SO GOOD I don't even like coleslaw. I was actually disappointed they said it was house made now I can't buy it for the next gathering! 😩 lol.

Definitely coming back! Especially for that GIGANTIC SLICE OF CAKE I saw holy moly!! 😍
