I came in from out of town for a family event. This place has the best food. Everything we tried was fantastic. The drinks are strong and the staff is a whole vibe. You will not be disappointed.

I was meeting a friend in Elkhart and had my dog with me so I needed a pet friendly restaurant. I found Smokin’ Fatty’s BBQ online and called to confirm their patio was still open and allowed dogs. When we arrived my friend went in to let them know we were outside. That’s when we met Kenzie! Honestly she is the BEST server I have ever had and I am in my 60’s!!
She brought our cocktails very quickly and when we asked for her food recommendations she said the smoked wings were a favorite as well as the smoked baby Yukons so we ordered them. We added Gigi Sue’s cabbage to our order as well.
While waiting for our food Kenzie took the time to chat with us for a few minutes. We discovered that she attended college in my town!
Our food came out very quickly and was very good. The only issue was that the sides weren’t as hot as they could have been but that’s not her fault.
I would recommend the management recognize Kenzie as an excellent representative of their establishment! And if I am ever in Elkhart again, I will return to try other menu items.

Wife and I were traveling from CT to IL and came across this gem. The food was amazing. Wife had the pulled pork and I had the shrimp tacos. Best BBQ we have had in a long time. If in Elkhart it is a must have. We only did takeout, but there service was also great. The staff checked the order and made sure I had everything we needed. Great Place and Great Food!
