I come here way more than i should lol! Always though the staff is extremely polite and friendly. Order is almost always correct. If there is a mistake they correct it immediately. I noticed a couple of the staff members like Joey will go out of their way for you to make sure you have a good experience. I always enjoy coming here.

Chill place, fun staff, great vibes! I like the route 66 napkins, the burgers and shakes and fries are yummy, and the place is super clean and well-lit. It's open 'till 2 AM, and great for traveling groups.

Had 3 meal's..... 1 meal they was having trouble with. We sat 35 minutes bfor they brought 2 of the meal's an they we're cold finally got last meal 15 minutes later... Made an online order at 708 while we was waiting for our meals.. I ordered 3 l shake's app said they'd b ready in 7 to 12 mins.... Long story short we finally got those at 752🤔🤔😣🤬

Our two favorite burger joints are In-N-Out and Steak ‘n Shake. This particular location in Elkhart, Indiana, was FIL-THY. After ordering from a kiosk, I passed up six tables that—while cleared of trash—were not washed clean on their surfaces. I had to use two wet wipes to wash our table. After waiting several, SEVERAL minutes, my husband went to the kitchen and asked the status of our food. My order was incorrect, and they did correct it. Our food was delicious, but the knowledge that filthy, unswept floors, a filthy kitchen/food prep area, and my husband looked into the sink behind the pick-up counter. . . disgusting. How does this restaurant stay open? We were traveling, and when we left there, we muttered, “I can’t believe we decided to stay there and eat. . .” Thankfully we never will again. Very poor first impression. And last.
SO glad neither of us needed to use the restroom. . .

It's a SnS, what's not to love? This location though, the staff were very friendly and kind. Like memorable levels of kind.
One note, if you're traveling with kids and you stop and get them shakes. Ask them to put them into to-go cups. Especially if you know they can't finish them quickly.

Best fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. Service was so polite and fast. Food was a 10/10 very clean and amazing restaurant. For anyone who naysays steak ‘n shake they should try this restaurant or any because they are an amazing chain
