It is a sad trend that we see so many places moving away from genuine human service, and instead are trying to cut costs and corners by only giving you the option to order with large touchscreen kiosks.Although the lady who brought our food out to us was very kind, a few moments later when I attempted to figure out where to get some ketchup for the fries, I was unable to get the attention of any of the employees, who seemed to not care about us at all, despite being the only customers in the store. While eating our food, we observed another gentleman with the exact same issue, who ended up leaving because he couldn’t get the attention of an employee.That said, the burger was very good- the fries okay, and the grilled cheese disappointing. It was partly our mistake, we did not realize this was fast food before visiting. That said, still not a good experience even by those standards. The Strawberry shake was okay - nothing special. Have had much better, but also had worse.Vegetarian options: Grilled Cheese and Fries are only plant based options, and the grilled cheese was made with burger grease mixed in so it certainly wasn’t truly vegetarian.

The food was great but the men's bathroom stunk so bad it smelled like piss. And the water doesn't work in the men's bathroom either. Horrible. Talked to the manager Carrie and she said she would send someone in there and nope. No one ever went in there. Never come to this place again

Steak and shake is a place where one would go late at nite or after the party to get some food to sober up. Lol. The food is OK, but the shakes are pretty good. If you get there between 2pm and 4pm, shakes are half price.

My frisco was not it. It was very saggy and tasted like the meat was bad or something.The employee lady with no teeth is extremely rude and unprofessional. What do I have to do around here to get good service and a good frisco ? The fries and shake was alright, that’s the only reason for the one star otherwise I would’ve done 0 if I could.

I grew up loving Steak & Shake but I don't recommend it anymore. Even though it's never busy the service is slow and it tends to be dirty. The food isn't what it used to be and isn't very good. I also am not a fan of the kiosk ordering system and I haven't met anyone that is.

Got a Frisco melt, small fries and a shake. Shake was about the same as anywhere else. Fries were cold. Bland. The Frisco melt was greasy, tasteless sandwich. Total waste of money.
