Not sure if they even have an actual location anymore. They are at events in the area and never seem to have it together. Long lines for not enough food, and slow service. This place is not for me.

First time I've been there this last Thursday, wish I would have went sooner! Atmosphere was great! Staff is friendly and helpful! It's unfortunate that this place is closing today. I know I will be seeing you at events around Elkhart!❤️

Ribs had a nice crust. They were tender with a nice smoke ring. The house sauce is good, but they stand on their own without it. The green beans had a nice homestyle flavor and the side salad was simple, but good.

They opened at 5. By 5:15 the kitchen was so far behind they couldn't take our order. At 6 we were told we could order in another 20 min. Then we overheard that they're our of ribs. It is now 6:22 and have since overheard the cook saying it could be another 20 min or another 40 min for the ribs.. in short, after sitting there for over an hour, we were only able to get a fried appetizer platter and a couple eggs f beers. The total on those two items was $26 which is ridiculous.

Your senses are seduced by the smokey aroma of the pit when you pull in the parking lot. Rib tips are tender and juicy. Ribs give you the perfect bite without falling off the bones. Definitely on point! Quality meat cooked right that doesn't require sauce, but the sauce is that oowwee! The owner and staff are inviting and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Their Long Beach will make a rough day at work,.....a distant memory. I can't forget about the moist pulled pork that melts in your mouth, and appetizers!!!

I have ordered from them twice . The first time I got a pulled pork sandwich and wings . The second time I got a full rack of ribs and wings again ! Depending on what time you come in to order you may have to wait a while as they are cooking everything fresh. After tasting the food the wait is well worth it ! The ribs are some of the best I have had in the area and the wings are to die for ! I would definitely recommend this place ! The prices may seem a little high but once you eat the food you understand why ! I didn’t get a picture of the ribs because I scarfed them down but I got one of the wings !

Authentic and amazing all the way around. If you have met the owner and his family, you know the story. Who else in this (or any town) actually has their own smokehouse right on site? We'll this place does! I bet you could drive by at 1 in the morning and catch the owner tending to his smokehouse. It's that real, and that good. Go eat there, you won't be disappointed. Plus they help our veterans and give back to their community. Don't go anywhere else.

Visiting from Tennessee. Looking for a good local restaurant. Food was great, service was awesome. Had the opportunity to speak to the owner. Listened to his story about the restaurant. This gentleman runs the smokehouse, and you can tell by the food he is passionate about what he does. Not only is the food great, but the owner is a man who gives back to the community, including veterans. I cant recommend this place enough. If i lived here i would be a regular!
This was our 1st visit to this restaurant. We went on a Sunday only to find out thit's out that they dial back their menus the menus on Sundays.. So that was but there was not a lot to choose from.. My wife ordered a it ordered a barbecue sandwich which to be honest was soggy. We asked the waitress for for a different thing on the menu on the menu because my wife was not pleased with her food. Tperiod the waitress replied if you don't like this then you won't like that. However, she did get the owner to come over and he did rectify the situation by giving us what we asked for. That dish of rib tips was much better.. We did have to wait have to wait for the waitress to come back so we can pay for our bill even though there was no one else being served in the restaurant at the time . We ended up getting up from our seats and walking to the bar to be checked out there Only to find out that our waitress his waitress was at the front leaning over a desk talking.. The food was not terrible it's not terrible once the situation was fixed but we probably won't go back on a Sunday.. We may try them again at some point during the week when they are serving their full Menu.
