We have been here several times and have been ignored by different bartenders as they visit with people. I was a server for over 30 years. I don’t think it’s very professional to continue a conversation without acknowledging a new customer. You can at least say hello and politely excuse yourself when convenient. Last night we sat at the bar. There was only one other couple in the place. They were not eating, just standing and talking to the bartender. The bartender definitely saw us, but stood and talked to them as we sat and waited. We were not acknowledged and finally walked out. It’s one thing if a server is busy serving, but when they are just visiting and ignore other guests, that’s not professional. This has happened to us at least 3 times here. Not sure why we even went back again. I guess we just hoped that we would have a better experience

I love coming to this place as it's on my way home from work. It's a little in Gem in Downtown Elkhart. Everything from the drinks to the meals are perfect. The hospitality is amazing and I will continue to keep going here.

Good draft beer selection. The Bourbon Root Beer Pork Ribeye entree is exceptional; I would not hesitate to order it again. Good value since it includes two sides and a salad which were also quite good.

Visiting from Houston, TX for a few days to check on our RV at the Forest River plant. Extremely enjoyed the bar. Hewitt was our bar tender/server on Sunday night. He was excellent! The food Chef Caleb made was fantastic! Husband had the Wimpy burger, and I had the Tuscan Pasta with chicken. Sooo good. Went back Monday night and Kim was our server. I had the Tuscan Pasta again but with shrimp. Husband had the Cherry Salmon. Also excellent. I highly recommend this place & will definitely stay at the Hotel Elkhart & eat at The Corner Bar when here again 😋 ❤️

Absolutely terrible kitchen. My Tuscan chicken pasta came out as a piece of chicken on a plate with some sauce… no pasta lol. Also got our salads the same time as our food. Our server was polite and appeared to be making an effort so I don’t want to discredit her but everything else was pretty bad, especially for the price. This place won’t be open long. I tend to only leave a review if the experience was either really bad or really good. This one was terrible.
We had dinner here three years ago. I cannot remember if I gave a review but if I didn’t here I go! I ordered the ribeye pork chop with asparagus and ancient grains and man was that the best pork chop I have ever had! So tender and flavorful! The appetizer was delicious as well - we had the fried mushrooms. Great food and the service was great, Hewitt was very friendly, polite and helpful as well as attentive.
