Wow! I had heard so many great things about Westwind Brewery, and this place did not disappoint. The building itself is clean, modern, and spacious, but not overly so - it still has a cozy feel. Aaron, the owner, was working the bar. He was very outgoing and personable. You can tell it's his blood, sweat, and tears that have made this place what it is today. The beer was great. I have enjoyed everything I have had from Westwind over the years, but being in the tasting room gave me the chance to branch out. The other beers did no disappoint! They were even running a special with St. Jude Children's Hospital where $1 was being donated for every pint sold of a special beer! I didn't get to try any food because we had dinner reservations to get to, but the patrons next to me at the bar were raving about the food, especially the Caprese sandwich. I had my eye on the Cuban sandwich. 5 stars all around! I can't wait to go back when its warmer and the garage doors are opened. Cheers!

Visiting South Bend, but one of my things is to visit local craft breweries and West wind was a little oasis. Kinda in the middle of nowhere, but has the required industrial reuse vibe to the building. Beers were different, which is exactly what I was hoping for, the Primis was hazy without being too much like a soda. The Faithfully DIPA is excellent with a hint of fruit but no syrup like some doubles..

Hey, man, like, we cruised into this joint for a brewski while we were in town, you know? And it was like, totally jumpin' for a freakin' Monday, man! It's like, "What's goin' on here, dude?"So, the service, man, it was like, off the charts, you know? The bartender, he's like lightning, fast and all smiles, man. He's just groovin' behind the bar.We tried a couple of IPAs, man. One was good, and the other was, like, very good, you know? And then there was this porter, it was good too, but it's like, "Yeah, tastes like most of those coffee porters, man."If you're on the hunt for a chill spot to hang with your buds, dig some righteous brews, and soak in that cool vibe, this place is where it's at, man. It's like, the grooviest joint in town, no doubt about it!

First visit for me to this brewery in an industrial neighborhood. The setting is perfect! Outdoor seating is ample. As for the beer, the selection is good. Tried the Trajectory Porter and Kingsmen Kolsch. Went with the Kolsch (although both were decent). Kolsch was easy drinking and light. Service was top notch and gets five stars. Not child friendly, which is fine with me. Shuffleboard available. I gave four stars overall because I believe that as this brewery matures, the beers will get better. I'll continue to support them while they get there. Give 'em a shot!

Decent beer, good selection. Service could use some improvement. Hope that isn't going to be their downfall.

Love exploring new breweries and this place didn't disappoint. The owner was behind the bar and did a great job. The beer is solid, you won't be disappointed. Great experience, I'll stop in next time I come through town.
