The Tin Plate, Fine Food & Spirits

It says it right on the wall when you enter: "The American Tin Plate" and they mean it. What you see is what you get, and what you see is easy american food, well done and served in portions that are as generous in quality as they are in price. I came from a breaded pork tenderloin group, and was NOT disappointed. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. What i didnt expect was some of the best country gravy Ive had since my own grandmother died, delightful salads/coleslaw, state fair worthy onion rings, and the generous free ribbon fries. All of those are enough to bring me back for more. Easily accessible from the northside of Indianapolis it is well worth the trip for a good meal.

first time there tonight...best tenderloin I've ever had ever...definitely worth the price and the wings were fire...tried 3 sauces and all were bomb...definitely coming back...one of if not the best restaurant in Elwood

Absolutely amazing pork tenderloin sandwich. Friends keep telling me I must try the beef manhattan, but when I get there I cannot order anything but tenderloin. Still haven't tried beef manhattan.

The history and charm of this place is amazing! The food was as good as advertised, and our server was so friendly. We loved meeting the Tin mascot (outdoor cat) as we sat out on the patio.
