The bartender who looks like Kate McKinnon is always on top of her game.“

“Lovely place! You can see Evansville from there. Customer service is super good. The food however it wasn't that good. I ordered bacon cheesy fries. Instead of using liquid white queso, they used a slice of cheese that has been placed later in a microwave. The fries were crunchy good but that part 😔“

They remembered all of the little details. Mary even remembered that I’m obsessed with Chex mix and saved me a bag for after the wedding. These guys are who you need to use for your events. Amazing food too. From the cocktail hour snacks, to the buffet, to the late night taco bar.. it was all a hit. They helped make our wedding the best day ever. Thank you STP Inn!“

Absolutely the best old school tavern on the Westside of Evansville. Always have a beer special running. Pizzas are about the best tavern pizza you'll ever have.

Staff (that I've encountered) are all awesome & do great, I Love the quality of drinks & food & I've never had any issues; whatever hour I seem to make it down there! (If it's too much for me, I just come back later) ... Pool tables good too. Low key, mixed crowds.
And .... It's just so close to home base.

“I can't share a picture of my meal because, due to health reasons, I can't eat or drink. We started visiting this spot at the end of June 2025. Right from day one, everyone has been incredibly welcoming. From the main manager to the other managers and all the employee we have met, we've felt accepted.

We visit for one person in particular, Alicia. She stands out. Everyone knows and everyone understands why she’s special to us. Alicia excels at her job. She's the kindest, gentlest person I've ever met.

It’s unusual to find so many employees who are genuinely nice and kind, from the top down. That makes this place truly special.“

“I've been a patron of Hacienda on First Avenue in Evansville IN for43 years! This restaurant is as close to authentic Mexican cuisine in Evansville, in my opinion.
The only reason for the 4-star rating for the atmosphere is that I prefer smaller or cozy dining areas. Being older in age, dining with families with children is difficult for my husband and I to have a conversation.
We usually start our meal with a fountain drink and chili con queso. The chips are thin and lightly salted. They are sturdy enough for the cheese dip, however. They offer two sizes of dip, a cup, or a bowl. This is nice based on what your entree will be.
We are creatures of habit with regard to our meal choices, but we always look at the wide variety of appetizers, salads, and entrées. Hacienda offers new menu items often, which our daughter enjoys trying. She has never been dissaentrée.
I highly recommend this restaurant on First Avenue as well as the east side location
