The service wasn’t slow, it was non existent. We had a reservation at 6p, and at 6:15 no one head acknowledged our table despite the manager in the striped shirt and server both making direct eye contact with us. We decided to leave so we would not be late for our event. Who knows how long food and drinks would have taken? 😬 I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

The server was less than friendly the entire time. We had to ask her to refill drinks after sitting with empty glasses for extended periods of time. Drove 45 mins to eat with family, so many issues.
My nephew, 11,(who has texture issues)ordered his meal and did not realize when his mom ordered it the only ever time he got it asked for the syrup/sauce on the side, when it came he took one bite said it tasted weird we figured out the syrups were on it told him so and he tried a second bite and could not handle it. The floor can be slippery, so walk carefully. It's not particularly kid-friendly, but the diverse menu items are impressive, with a nice variety of options and a home cooked meal theme. The fried chicken, country fried steak, and cornbread are delicious. Portions are generous. Despite the limited space, the delicious food makes it worth considering for takeout orders.
