Do not miss out on Gangnam!! We were in from out of town and hungry for Korean. If you're looking for authentic Korean food in Evansville, I recommend Gangnam!

We started with the house-made crab rangoon, which was unlike any I've had before—fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The also brought Banchan and Pajeon to our table which we very much appreciated. The sauce they served with the Pajeon was amazing!! Make sure to branch out if you have never had Korean side dishes and ask for the banchan.

The sweet potato noodles and Korean ramen were both full of flavor and cooked well. The sushi tasted great! What I was really craving was the beef bulgogi and it did not disappoint!!! It was incredibly tender, perfectly marinated, and bursting with flavor.

We also enjoyed a bottle of soju, which was the perfect pairing with the meal.

From the food to the hospitality, everything was outstanding. I was a big fan of the atmosphere. If you've never tried Korean cuisine—or if you're already a fan—this is a must-visit. If we return to Evansville, we'll definitely be making the trip back!

Service was all over the place. Gave our food to the wrong table and kept saying it was cooking. Then said they gave it to the wrong table. One in our party didn't get food.

This is the best Korean food in town! Sarah the owner is top notch in the kitchen. You have to try the japchae with chicken and korean beef soup! Brendan is also excellent at making sushi.

I ordered delivery so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere. The Beef Bulgogi was the worst Beef Bulgogi I have had to date. I requested and paid an extra $1 for spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. The salmon lovers roll had a sauce over the top of it with no mention of a sauce on the menu and I requested soy sauce with it and didn't receive any soy sauce. I splurged for overpriced food with abysmal portions that I didn't even want to eat after trying.

Party of 4 Arrived at about 5pm on a Saturday. Immediately after sitting advised that they could not do sushi, only had diet pepsi, cherry pepsi and sweet tea to drink. Wife ordered kimchi that was inedible, she took one bite and pushed it aside. Rest of our order was beef ramen, beef bulgogi, beef soup and chicken fried rice with egg rolls for appetizers. Our server did not return for 30 minutes, and that was just to check and see if we need drink refills. 50 minutes later egg rolls came out so hot that they had be cut in to small pieces and left to cool for another 5 minutes. 10 minutes after that beef ramen comes out but none of our other food does. So this leaves one member of the group with food and 3 without. Then the bulgogi comes out, then 5 minutes later the soup. They had entirely forgotten chicken fried rice and it took another 5 minutes to get it. To top it off, guests who were seated well after us got their entire order before us, as well as guests ordered and received sushi when we were told it was not available. I only gave the food 2 stars because it was actually edible, though not anything better than you can make at home with basic supermarket ingredients. Service was unacceptable, and atmosphere was too dark and seemed to be built in a flower shop or something. Would not recommend to a starving person.

Celebrated our son’s birthday at Gangnam and we had a fantastic evening. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun. The best part was how welcoming they were to our group bringing out samples to try and a final, over the top, Happy Birthday serenade in ITALIAN! Haha! Thank you!

Decent Korean restaurant offering typical Korean dishes. Offers booth seating with kpop videos playing which makes for a nice atmosphere. Has all the typical Korean dishes you would expect. The food is decent but not spectacular. The location downtown is nice because it is very walkable and you can stroll around downtown before or after.
