I really enjoy the food and ice cream at Lic's, but the past few times I have gone, they are closed way before their hours have them listed as closing. I specifically searched the hours before driving there, they are listed as open, and i drive there only to find the door locked and the employee inside shook her head "no" at me to indicate they are not open. I hadn't been to Lic's in a while, but really wanted a shake tonight, and got a kiddie cup for my dog. Hardly any ice cream in the shake and not well blended. Giant french fry and clump of hair in the kiddie cup. This was the Weinbach and Washington location.
Cute little ice cream shop love the colors and old time feel. We were the only customers in the store. We ordered our waffle cones, I went to the restroom, my teenage son waited. I came back out, sat down. We sat for about 3 minutes. Then the girl behind the counter was like your cones are right there.
