Food and drinks are always phenomenal, very busy but the servers were juggling a lot of tables and filled in whenever they could

The food was mediocre at best, the service slow, and, clearly, they booked too many guests for the number of workers. We enjoyed the restaurant for several years but will not return. It was an unpleasant experience. I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

As usual, excellent food and gracious service. Madeleine's is always a pleasant experience.

Everything from the special birthday table decor to the food and service was outstanding! Thanks for making our night so memorable.

Madeleine's delivers on its self-description as a fusion-focused restaurant. It's amazing how they can make delightful new flavor and texture experiences with delicate combinations of familiar food elements that don't usually share space on the same plate.

Opentable Diner

We were in from out of town, celebrating our anniversary, and so had looked for well reviewed locations for this kind of special occasion. Madeleine's came up, and to say it did not disappoint would be an understatement. Everything about it far exceeded expectations. The service was excellent, cordial and attentive, but at no point rushing us through our dining experience. I am really at a loss for adjectives where the food is concerned. It was simply superb and unique. I am told they rotate their menu, and quite honestly I would want to come back at every new iteration to experience it. The portions were great, very satisfying. Our dining experience here really does stand out among other fine dining experiences we have had; it felt very unique and was delicious in every way.

We went there for a date night on a Wednesday. The restaurant was not busy. It was very intimate and we really enjoyed a quiet and relaxed dinner. The food was excellent. We ordered the seafood bake and chicken dish. Both were very good. The fall cake is delicious.

Filet Mignon was over cooked. Medium Rare should be an easy order, it's the most commonly ordered steak. If you were to prepare a steak without the ability to know what your customer prefers, you would do medium rare. I got medium well. I explained this after my meal was over with the wait staff and still left a generous tip. It's the the wait staffs fault afterall.

Our server, Charles, elevated our whole experience. He was funny and very knowledgeable about everything on the food and drink menus alike. We were celebrating my husband's birthday so we were all given water glasses that said Happy Birthday on them. Very classy way to recognize our occasion and so much better than the entire wait staff stopping by to sing and clap. The food was super delicious! My only disappointment was the last drink I had. I am allergic to sulfites and something that was in the drink definitely had sulfites in it because I had severe stomach pain for a few hours afterward which just put a bad ending on an otherwise wonderful evening.

Amazing place to have a quiet and delicious meal. The atmosphere is upscale but casual, the staff are courteous, and I loved the food. Highly recommend the crab Rangoon starter and the ravioli main course. Alcohol and food were suprisingly well priced.

Once again, the staff at Madelines exceeded my expectations. The service and attention was wonderful. The food was very timely and properly prepared. Presentation was great. And the drinks from the bar were wonderful. I had miso pork and my wife had a fillet. We had several sides, and they were all delicious.

My daughter and I walked into this restaurant 70 minutes before closing on a Friday night. We were road weary after driving from Tallahassee, FL, on our way to Chicago. Madeline’s looked like the perfect spot to sup - our family enjoys a creative dining experience. We never got that far. We entered and were greeted by a young woman who informed us that the only options for dining were cocktails and dessert. This left a bad taste in my mouth. We departed and continued our search for a welcoming place. Because Madeline’s was not that.

Bib Gourmand, in my book. Well curated menu offering a range from comforting to something I don’t feel I could attempt to replicate at home. My chosen dish had a sauce that was a pure poetry, with a very refined balance complimenting and not overpowering a white fish protein. The cocktails very excellent! The restaurant delivers delicious eats at a reasonable price point, at a relaxed dining atmosphere. What’s not to like?

Foodie experience in Evansville, for sure. The menu is short and curated. Service attentive and focused on the patrons. I liked how the appetizers varied from the traditional to playful reflecting the “fusion “ concept. The main fish course was perfectly balanced: the flavors of the mild white fish were highlighted by the matched sauce. So very French cuisine! Perfect fine dining
