This was our first visit to Scott Anderson's restaurant. I ordered shrimp and grits. My friend had the chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread. We loved our choices. It's a beautiful place to eat excellent food. Such a welcome addition to Evansville!
My husband and I had lunch here last week. Scott had made a few suggestions then gave us time to look over the menu. We ordered 4 items; shrimp and grits, muffuletta sandwich, side salad and roasted veggies. The portions were generous and it was so delicious we ate it all. He was attentive without making us feel rushed and even gave us a little history on the McCurdy and his venture into that space. We live an hour away, but we plan to come back here again. Finally made it in and should have done it sooner. Trying to eat more veggies and the eggplant tapenade gyro with roasted vegetables was excellent. Bringing the wife in ASAP. Atmosphere was great - clean, open, bright with a little patio that was completely shaded. Perfect for a quick summer lunch.
