Tonight my wife and I enjoyed a nice meal at the Olive Garden on Greenriver Road here in Evansville. The atmosphere was pleasant , the food was delicious, and our server “Yonatan M. was the best we’re had.
Had the shrimp appetizer it was very good . Server was excellent. Bread sticks were not as good as I remember but not bad. The size was more than I could eat alone.
Sam, our relatively new, yet friendly waitress took good care of us on a very busy Saturday night(football homecoming i believe was a thing ;) ) My chicken alfredo was yum and I always enjoy the soup (pasta e fagioli) and breadsticks!! Was excited to be able to order the butter cookie pumpkin cheesecake again!! ....since it is seasonal andddd I missed it by 2 days last year!! :O Thank you, Sam, and OG for another delicioso meal!!

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. The food quality and prices are variable, with some reviewers finding the meals satisfactory while others feel the quality has declined post-pandemic. The service, however, is consistently praised, with attentive waitstaff and efficient handling of large orders. The atmosphere is also described as great, and staff members like JJ and Clint are recognized for their attentive and friendly service, making the visit memorable. Guests have noted that the food, including the classic meal Olive Garden is known for, comes out quickly and is hot and fresh. Many customers appreciate the helpful staff, with one even thanking employees for retrieving personal belongings before opening hours. Despite some concerns about discounts for veterans and seniors, the overall experience at this location is highly positive, encouraging repeat visits, even from those who travel over an hour to get there.
