Madeleine's delivers on its self-description as a fusion-focused restaurant. It's amazing how they can make delightful new flavor and texture experiences with delicate combinations of familiar food elements that don't usually share space on the same plate.
We were in from out of town, celebrating our anniversary, and so had looked for well reviewed locations for this kind of special occasion. Madeleine's came up, and to say it did not disappoint would be an understatement. Everything about it far exceeded expectations. We went there for a date night on a Wednesday. The restaurant was not busy. It was very intimate and we really enjoyed a quiet and relaxed dinner. The food was excellent. We ordered the seafood bake and chicken dish. Both were very good. The fall cake is delicious.
