Wonderful produce at electric works.
Good prices and convenient location, but the old man running the bakery section is very rude to queer-presenting people. Best get your produce elsewhere if you don't look straight, white, and Christian.
Love this place so much! Everyone is always a joy to talk to and it's so awesome seeing more and more local options be provided. The meat, bread, salads, and produce are all fantastic. Not to mention the soup! In a time where I dread grocery shopping and dealing with the final bill, plowshare at the market offers high quality, often local, produce and goods for very affordable prices. If you're ever in the area definitely swing by and support them
I love grocery shopping here, there is so many produce, bread, deli and meat options and you can get dinner while you shop!
Got the pulled pork sandwich , some soup, and some cheesey bread as a side. Pulled pork sandwich was fantastic, buttered cheese bread, sweet baby ray's sauce, and super tender pulled pork. The cheesey bread side was ? too. Took home a loaf of the bread because it was so good. 10/10 would go again.
Came from out of town to Union Markets on a Sunday. Most everything was closed, but this place was open. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The guy behind the counter said something about it being cooked for 12 hours. Get it with the black pepper Parmesan bread! The workers behind the counter were lovely as well. Happy to talk with you about cooperative business models. I highly recommend giving them a chance.
What a treasure to find! This market with the Market is full of fantastic produce offering at incredible prices! Their loaded potato salad was fantastic! Fresh breads & bagels. Amish beef that looked amazing. Too much to list. I recommend a stop here. Very helpful, informed staff. The kind of vendor you hope to find at a market like Union Street Market. We will stop anytime we are near Fort Wayne.
Came and lights were partially on/off. I’m not sure if they’re actually serving on Sunday morning
This is one of the food stalls at the electric works. Around lunchtime you can order a seafood boil for $28. They have quite a selection of flavoring that you can select from which makes the food quite flavorful. However, for the price you pay it’s kind of pricey, since it just includes corn, sausage, potato, clams, mussels, and shrimp. they also have fresh seafood that you can buy including oysters as well. As other reviewers mention, you can also get their Smashburger which we didn’t try this time.
Fantastic local butcher and lunch counter.
Vegetarian options: There is a veggie burger available upon request

We ordered five seafood boils, and they were the best we've ever had in the Midwest, which is not known for quality seafood.Andy took our order via email, and our product was flawless, tasty and very satisfying.Highly recommend to anyone who misses real seafood, because this is the real deal!Thank you, Andy!

This market is my absolute go to, they have the best meat I have had in town, the staff is energetic and extremely knowledgeable, I learn something new about cuts and meat quality every time I visit. They are the pulsing heart of the electric works market in my opinion, so go grab a smash burger and buy some wild boar and skirt steak!
Vegetarian options: This is just a joke!
This place serves an AMAZING burger. I ordered a double caprese burger and I would highly reccomend it. At $16 it is a little pricey but totaly worth it. It is a locally sourced restaurant which is even better. Also, we had our food super fast. Less than 10 minutes from order to getting the burger in my hand. This was also my first time visiting Electric Works and I am so impressed. I will be back.

Looking forward to seeing them grow. I visited twice so far. Some takeaways:-They are serving local Wood Farms beef, which is very high quality. They are smash patties - maybe similar to a Culver's patty.-The burgers are comparably priced to other local Wood Farms options like Bravas and Junk Ditch.-They have some room to improve (or at least clarify, in my opinion) the toppings. Rather than standard toppings like bacon, cheese or mushrooms, all of the toppings are chopped up and mixed into a flavored paste. The flavor is there, but the texture will take some getting used to. On one of my visits, there wasn't enough paste for the size of the burger, so it mostly tasted like beef. I could see some first time guests wondering where all the toppings are. I'm sure the menu probably explained things well, but it's a quick order market setting so I imagine many guests will order a bacon cheeseburger and expect it to have visible bacon and cheese.-Right now, there are very few kids food options at the market. It would be helpful if they could add a plain hamburger or cheeseburger to the menu for kids. When I ordered a plain hamburger for my young daughter, it was $14.
