“Stopped in last evening for a quick bite to eat and our waitress took us to our table ...who's name was Caitlyn... (possibly a K not sure). But we had the BEST customer service that I have had in as long time. She was so Sweet and checked on us continually. She also suggested when I wanted a wrap...that I didnt have to have it with Buffalo sauce could get it just plain with ranch. When she bought the food she said, "Would you like an extra side of ranch". I thought that was so kind. Then when she bought boxes to the table for our left overs she bought a lid for my ranch and a sack to Carry our containers in...ALL without me asking. I asked for the manager to come to the table for her to be recognized for her impeccable customer service!! He said, " He appreciated me bringing that to his attention". I made sure she got an excellent tip for her Kind , caring and quality customer service. BUT I ALSO THINK SHE DESERVES A 5 STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating here as well. Most of the time these days you dont get that kind of customer service...so when you do it needs to be reconized!! Thank you again Caitlyn on a job well done!!“

“Had a wonderful evening at the Rooftop. The weather was perfect, the drinks were to die for, and Olivia was perfect. Have the Elevated Old Fashioned and sit in Olivia’s section. “I've been going to this rustic old place for almost 15 years, laid back and friendly. It's been a great place to grab a beer,wine or lite bite to eat since 1895. Still has the original bar stand and alot of the original wood. This bar will take you back to the past.?“

We ride bikes a lot downtown and this is always a must stop to grab a drink and hang out for a bit!! The pedal pubs and tractor are a super fun way to travel around the fort with a group of friends.“

The duck ragoon appetizer or something I didn't know I needed until then. It comes piping hot, and totally worth burning your mouth for --please be careful! The inside is molten goodness with small bits of duck. It comes with a sweet chili dipping sauce and the outside has a thick crunch.

? For pizza, we ordered two 10-in regular crust pizzas to share. One was the Porky Pig and the other was the Bahn Mi. Porky Pig was our favorite of the two. The Bahn Mi did actually taste like the Vietnamese sandwich, but beware, there are little bits of jalapeno on it so there's a kick. The only issue was that the toppings on the pizzas had a hard time staying them as we had to tear the slices apart.

The next day though, cold leftovet pizza out of the fridge though was superb.??

I also got a cup of soup: Irish Stew. I felt like it might have been under seasoned.“

“We were there the first week they opened back in the 70's. The owners treated us like family. We drank, ate, then drank some more. Last call was usually too soon. We listened to Peggy Lee on the jukebox. That's when we were young. As we got older, we were less attentive and eventually drifted away. Jimmie, Luba, Tom and Bill. I miss them!“

“I love this little bar. It's got an interesting crowd as most bars do but it's a small one with mostly regulars. When I go here it's never too rowdy and most of the regulars are nice people who are friendly and kind. The bar staff are just as wonderfully kind and they make that place so much better.“

“This place rarely fails. The service was spectacular. The salad bar is famous itself, but the steaks did not disappoint. I ordered the coffee crusted Ribeye, and my wife ordered the filet. Both were full of flavor and very tender. My only critique was dessert. They brought out the creme brulee, and the top was perfect, but the bottom was warm and very runny. So runny that the area you just took a spoonful from filled back in. Great flavor but disappointing texture. We mentioned this to our waitres, and she apologized, but nothing else was done about it. My wife ordered a martini and loved it. I tried the ultimate margarita with Don Julio, but it was not good at all as even though i stirred it, it was all tequila and nothing else. Overall, it was still a good experience.“

My only one sad regret is that since the pandemic they haven’t brought back the fresh seafood bar on Fridays and Saturdays! This was always an exceptional treat.“

“Ordered three large Stuffed Rolls. We had the Garbage, the Meat Lover’s and the Philly. All were excellent. Definitely will be making this a regular Sunday afternoon order during football season. I did not rate atmosphere as this was a carry out order. The online ordering app isn’t the most user friendly, but I’ve definitely dealt with worse. Highly recommend this place.“
