“We stopped in last week for a beer. Was pleasantly surprised that they had Guinness on draft. We ordered pizza, one of the best I've had in a long time and a sub. Food was very good and will be back the next time we're in town. Bartender was very friendly.“

“This is such the iconic definition of awesome “hole in the wall.” Phenomenal food at phenomenal prices. I grew up in Indiana, obviously knowing that Mr Dave’s was the best pork tenderloin in the state, and holy cow was I SO wrong. I’ve never had even a mediocre meal at the inn. I agree with other reviewers that the service can be kind of hit or miss, but so is service anywhere else.“

“The food is really yummy! I really only have experience with the salads, sub sandwiches, and cheesy bread though. I’m a sucker for the older looks, like an older diner. They have trivia on the TV too and a tiny arcade room (4-5 machines I think). The drink options were typical and their menu has many options for those with dietary issues, no separate special menu that I’m aware of (for GF or vegan). They are a bit on the slower side but that’s not an issue for me. The tables don’t seem to be cleaned in a timely manner after a group is done but there are lots of other seating if you don’t feel like just wiping it down. You do need to head down the stairs to the right when entering the building.
