“This was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is part of the Marriott, but not at all what you would expect for a hotel restaurant. Nice fresh urban ambience, good drinks, and good food! Thanks to our waiter, Erson who gave us great service. We had the signature dish of shrimp and grits with chorizo. Wow! Just delicious! Grits were a creamy base with very tender shrimp and the chorizo and sauce were a flavorful finish. Our friends had chicken and it was also wonderful. Very crispy but light with an amazing spicy honey drizzle. It's in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne where you can walk to the ball park, Connor's Rooftop for a drink and the view, the Embassy for a show, or other downtown gathering places.“

“Feb 21 2024: update, stopped in to give it second try. Had overlooked grilled shrimp which includes a side as a healthy order. Tasty dish, better $ deal, more calories with oil for grilling but tastes good. Service at bar excellent. Had 1 draft craft beer. Increase from 3 to 4 stars. Will come back again to try fried fish or salad. Out the door with tip about $20. Still had that "hometown" vibe and saw owner/cook mingling with patrons which made me feel good.Early Feb 2024: Not sure what all the great reviews are all about. Was just your typical deep fried American grill. I had a hard time finding anything "fresh" and healthy, not fried or frozen on the menu. People at bar, owner, waitresses & bartender were super friendly and mixed drinks were good but food menu choices was just meh. Had cold shrimp appetizer, sauteed collard greens side dish with parmesan cheese (the cheese a topping option for salads) and a side salad with avocado. It might sound healthy but I had to work hard to extract that from the menu.“

“The atmosphere was warm and inviting, we were seated next to the fire place. Our service was exceptional, Molly is amazing and we will definitely request her at our next visit. The pork chop served with jalapeño cheddar mashed red potatoes and apple chutney, sublime. The lobster risotto was good but could have been a little creamier, as the rice was still chewy and a little too salty. I added fresh lemon juice and it was the perfect compliment. The molasses bread with vanilla cinnamon butter was heavenly. My husband got the 10oz filet and he said he was perfectly cooked. The salad bar was diverse and delicious!! Overall this experience was one of my favorites in Fort Wayne.“

“Copper Spoon has been my husband and my favorite restaurant in Fort Wayne. Their cocktail program is by far the best in the area, and definitely one of the top places we have ever been to. The bartenders are very knowledgeable, skilled, and we always have a fun time talking with them and trying new drinks as well as our favorites. The food, however, has gone drastically downhill and we could not be more sad about it. Their salt and vinegar fried oysters were our favorite dish from any restaurant in Fort Wayne and this time we were told they not only got rid of those but did not have fresh ones either. That was a disappointment, but we always find something we love there so we ordered two different appetizers. Those appetizers were honestly almost inedible, which came to us as a complete shock as we have never had a bad item here. The steak tartare was bland and the egg yolk on top had a lot of egg white still attached to it, making the texture mushy and unappealing. The salmon dip special tasted like a tuna fish salad that was made from a can. I know they went through a recent change in chefs, but something is just not working. Their quality in fresh ingredients had always been noticeable and something we admired, but we could taste a huge difference in the quality of the ingredients. We really hope things can turn around and we can return and enjoy the Copper Spoon we are used to.“

“We have been to club soda several times for special occasion dinners, because I really love the restaurant. The smoked gouda dip was excellent and so was the creme brulee. (The presentation of the creme brulee could have been fancier, it was in a soup cup. However, it made for a larger portion) I had the stuffed chicken and white cheddar mashed potatoes. I especially liked the cream sherry sauce over the chicken. My husband had the pork chop, which was also very good. In addition to the lovely atmosphere, our server Maddie was perfect. “Parking is metered as it is Downtown and limited parking is available directly outside of the restaurant. The environment was more loud, friendly and upbeat. Very welcoming staff. Service was great and food arrived quickly, but courses weren’t timed out. The Marigold Chai Ash & Elm Cider was super delicious and paired beautifully with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, creating a curry-like flavor. I preferred the pita over the tortilla chips. The creamy savory Bruschetta Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque wrapped this meal up nicely. I loved that it had goat cheese on it. This is my favorite grilled cheese now. The Slop was a little under seasoned for my preference and was delivered at the same time as the grilled cheese, so it was cold by the time I got to eating it. I did like that all of the ingredients in the Slop were the same texture and no crunch in the pepper, tomato or onion. Very delicious reheated too. When trying the Strawberry Guava Topo Chico Hard Seltzer was no strong seltzer flavor and it provided a clear, bright tasting linger of strawberry guava. I’m personally not a fan of seltzers, but this one was a winner.“

“Very cool small town bar. Stopped in to check it out because I heard they have gizzards. Unfortunately, they were out but offered chicken hearts as a substitute. Although, I like chicken hearts I doubted I could eat a basket of them and passed. Instead, I had chicken wings, fries, onion petals, broccoli and bacon cheese bites, and breaded mushrooms. It was some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed some cold Miller Lites to wash it all down. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but I think that's one of the things that makes the place. Service was outstanding! I didn't catch the lady's name but she was hustling and taking care of everyone. I'm certain this isn't the last time I'll be there. Check it out! UPDATE: I made a return trip to try the gizzards. They're a no for me. I prefer mine crisp with a crunch or snap when I bite into them. These were more like they were pre-cooked to tenderize them and then battered and deep fried. They're like they have at 9 Mile Restaurant, which obviously I didn't like either.“

“I heard it was a local favorite, so I had to try it out myself. Upon walking in, I had the option of dining in w/ option of bar dining or take out, I chose bar dining and self seating. I wasn't offered a menu as you would with seated dining, but Stefanie quickly greeted me and offered up a menu. She also took my drink order. I ordered the half gut buster, which was plenty of food for one or even to share, and a side of jalapeño cornbread. Let's start there, I wasn't a fan of the cornbread. It wasn't that wonderful, fluffy textured cornbread we all know. This was dense and crumbly, as if too much baking powder or baking soda was used, lacked the flavor of cornbread or that beautiful golden yellow color. Next, the gut buster! You had a choice of two-three sauces, I chose house, blueberry cherry and bourbon hot. The plate came with ribs, wings, pulled pork, crack chicken, mac/chz and coleslaw. Sauces: house and bourbon were good, but the blueberry OUTSTANDING, its a must try!! Unfortunately, you could tell the pulled pork and crack chicken definitely sat a bit before it was delivered to the table as it had that "heat lamp dried layer" on it. The wings could've had maybe 10 mins less smoke time, but overall good, the ribs were also top notch, great bark and fall off the bone. The mac/chz could've been a little more saucier but the flavor was there and finally the coleslaw was ok. I will for sure give this place another go as the atmosphere was nice, the shaved head food runner guy (didn't get his name) was personable, told me about the local honey sample they're now using and Stefanie, as busy as she was, never missed a beat even for a single diner like myself! For those reasons, I gave a 4 out of 5 for my dining experience!“

“Sooo much fun! Had a blast celebrating with a friend for her birthday. The price was $350 for 2 hours, so divided by 11 of us was about $32/person. That does not include beverages/alcohol that you also have to purchase from them if you want some on the tour, no BYOB. Patrons are allowed to bring their own water, though. Made a few stops at the local bars for bday shots. Great experience! Would love to do again.Kid-friendliness: 21+ Only. No minors.“

“The food & atmosphere is Top Notch. Im sorry for not posting a photo of the Club sandwich I ordered. Arriving by bicycle, I had just ridden 17 miles.I arrived for a late lunch & was starving. So, when my food arrived, I started eating & completely forgot a photo. Again, I am sorry.I actually love going there.Chuck & crew have done a great job of keeping it a very nice place to go/attend for great food & live music. To many times people focus on giving negative reviews some earned, some not.I give actual experience reviews of the menu, the food served, the service overall, the atmosphere pricing & cleanliness of the business.Good job Clubroom staff!Parking: Usually very easy to find right up front parking on NON concert days at The Clyde.“
