“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.“

“Julie (owner) welcomed me and my two littles to her shop on a rather disastrous day, on our part. She was so patient and kind and accepted us just as we were -- extremely frazzled mom, barefoot + overtired toddler, and soon to be publicly breastfed two month old. Never once did I feel unwelcomed, disdained, or the least bit out of place despite the chaos I brought to her little slice of heaven. Julie is peppy, hard working, and outgoing. She not only served us swiftly and kindly (hello mandatory samples and extra time with decisions, offering suggestions as well as finding busy work while I thought), but also invested in our journey, asking thoughtfully worded questions and sharing her passions as we conversed. We easily spent an hour in her shop, dripping ice cream and breastmilk and exhaustion; tracking sticky fingers over her game pieces, and adjusting the atmosphere from pleasant to slightly stinky newborn blowout... and yet Julie met us where we were at with kindness and welcoming presence. Is that all? Goodness, no. I am gf/df and one of my littles is df and I was shocked to discover Moo Over not only existed in one but BOTH of my allergen capacities... and others, such as egg. I've been traveling to CC regularly for years and completely oblivious to this gem I could have been visiting every time with zero dietary concerns! Letting my hair down around food is a luxury that can become a common experience now that I know! I discovered her because she put a very GENEROUS coupon out in the Parkview Whitley new parents welcome packages. Originally I was sad it was a coupon I couldn't use, because dairy and ice cream... but I was so excited to discover I was wrong! And Julie, It worked -- I am a forever customer! Is THAT all? Goodness, no! This frazzled momma finally drove off, but left her debit card laying on the counter. Julie held onto it and when I called the next day, offered to mail it to me. She went through the hassle and expense of her time and resources to ensure I didn't have to cancel my bank card or worry about making an extra trip out (an hour away is so much longer when there are littles to load up everywhere you go!). I am beyond impressed with every aspect of what Julie does with Moo Over. She truly exudes excellence and the mindset of community she needs to excel. Such a genuinely amazing business woman. Thank you Julie for doing what you do and doing it so well!“

“The reviews are absolutely correct about Kim Vu Vietnamese Cuisine in Ft Wayne! The restaurant is impeccably clean, staff is friendly and speedy, and the food is authentic, fresh, and on-point. I had a spring roll with peanut sauce (super fresh/crisp and the sauce was amazing), crab rangoon (hot, crisp, and excellent filling), and the Hue Traditional Noodle Soup (#10). It is ALWAYS a pleasure dining in this restaurant, knowing that they genuinely care about what they do.“

I’ve had reactions at other restaurants that led to hospital visits — so finding a place that truly understands gluten-free safety is rare. Don Hall’s in Fort Wayne has consistently taken my gluten-free needs seriously, and tonight was exceptional. My server, Ashley B, went above and beyond. She double-checked everything, communicated clearly with the kitchen, and treated my health with genuine care. What might seem like a small gesture to some means everything to people like me. “My husband and I went to Bistro Nota a couple of weeks ago on a cold rainy Friday night. We went because one of the owners/chefs is Jake - formerly of Chop’s Wine Bar (when it was at it’s best). As is Jake’s forte, the the food was fabulous! We tried several different things. We ordered a bottle of the “house” red wine from their varied wine list. It was a great wine, far superior to what I expected from anyone’s house wine! The Pain et Fromage was delicious-Homemade Sliced Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia served with Roasted Pepper Cheese Dip. For dinner we tried their delicious Bistro Mac & Cheese - for an “a la carte” item it was a large portion. We ordered Low country Shrimp (GF) from the “small plates” portion of the menu - my husband doesn’t eat pork so they graciously omitted the bacon. We ordered Beef Teres Major entree -Petite Shoulder Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Marinated, Potato Veloute, Sofrito with Grilled Focaccia. The staff is engaging, congenial & professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, urban, slightly industrial. We will go back to Bistro Nota again and again !!!“

“They made my graduation soooooo special. I graduated college and I did it all in honor of my baby girl who we lost during pregnancy. I reached out and told them my story and gave them creative control! They did not miss at all. The cake was the center of attention at the party. Sooooo many photos were taken of the cake and she honored both me and my baby girl in that one cake. I will be back since my boyfriend proposed at my graduation party over the weekend. 🥰 Thank you so much for helping make my celebration and remembrance of my baby girl soooooo special.“

“Finally made it back for the first time this year after they were closed for a week to do a little remodel and it's even more perfect! They removed the barriers that were installed when Covid hit and opened up the counter area again. Plus moved some of the furniture around to create more social gathering spots. Bonus points for changing their Sunday hours from a 2pm closing time to 4pm!“

“Easily one of the best lowkey spots in FW, they have a great variety of ingredients and toppings. I always get a bowl (usually with marinated salmon) and they pack it full. Everyone's oh so nice too! Highly recommend giving them a try. For people wary of what poke it even is, think of your favorite sushi roll and just deconstruct it, hope that helps!“

“Caliente has evolved a lot over the past couple years. One thing that is consistent however , is the awesome food. Priced well and worth the money. Anytime I'm working in downtown fort Wayne , I make it a point to stop in for lunch at least once a week!“

“Came in on a Friday night with a couple friends and the place had a nice, laid back vibe. It wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated since we actually wanted to talk. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was pretty solid, juicy and cooked how I asked. The wings were decent too, good flavor but not crazy spicy. Service took a little while when it got busy, but our server kept checking in and was friendly the whole time. Prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, it’s a reliable neighborhood bar & grill and I’d go back again.“

“We had a thoroughly enjoyable anniversary evening at Baker Street. The crab dip appetizer came in a sourdough bread bowl and was spot on. The Lobster Bisque was the best we've had in the area with plenty of lobster chucks. The lobster pasta evening special was superb, and the walleye was equally as good. No doubt Baker Street is an excellent choice for a special evening celebration.“

We got the strawberry Fields, the bananas foster, the mini Cinnabons, and the wizard drink! I highly recommend this place!“

“I've been to Lalo's three times now. It's quickly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ft.Wayne. Casa Grande was my favorite, but now I prefer Lalo's. First time there, the service was good, food was okay, though not as hot as I would've liked, more lukewarm. However the second visit was better, food was hot and delicious. Ate there a third time a couple nights ago and food was hot and service was fast and friendly. I recommend the Lalo's burrito and the classic ground beef chimichanga, both come with delicious refried beans and rice. I love Lalo's~! Be advised though, Fridays and Saturdays are busy there. Best to go earlier in the week.“
