“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.“

I’ve had reactions at other restaurants that led to hospital visits — so finding a place that truly understands gluten-free safety is rare. Don Hall’s in Fort Wayne has consistently taken my gluten-free needs seriously, and tonight was exceptional. My server, Ashley B, went above and beyond. She double-checked everything, communicated clearly with the kitchen, and treated my health with genuine care. What might seem like a small gesture to some means everything to people like me. I was able to enjoy a night out without fear! Thank you to Ashley and the entire staff for your attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism. I’m so grateful to have a place I can trust!“

“The reviews are absolutely correct about Kim Vu Vietnamese Cuisine in Ft Wayne! The restaurant is impeccably clean, staff is friendly and speedy, and the food is authentic, fresh, and on-point. I had a spring roll with peanut sauce (super fresh/crisp and the sauce was amazing), crab rangoon (hot, crisp, and excellent filling), and the Hue Traditional Noodle Soup (#10). “We ate there this evening and the service/server was great We ordered the steak dinner and the sausage roll. The steak was spot on. However, the sausage roll was horrendous. The sauce tasted like it came out of a ravioli can. I can’t imagine serving that sauce. Another customer overheard our conversation and they both stated that they stopped eating the pizza because of the poor quality of the sauce. Highly disappointed“

“We’ve been here twice now, and even though it’s a smaller restaurant, it’s absolutely worth coming back to. The food is consistently delicious, and the salad bar is outstanding with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options. During our most recent visit, one of the steaks arrived medium rare when we had requested medium. Our server, Sydney, immediately apologized and offered to replace it without hesitation. She returned promptly with a perfectly cooked steak, and two managers stopped by to make sure everything was taken care of. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but it’s how a restaurant responds that sets it apart. The excellent customer service, attentive staff, and consistently great food are why we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“Came here on a Friday night with a couple friends and it was a pretty chill spot overall. The music wasn’t too loud, so we could actually talk which I liked. Drinks were solid, nothing crazy fancy but made well and didnt take forever to get. Bartender seemed a bit busy but still checked in on us. Crowd was mixed, not too rowdy which was nice. Only thing was finding a seat took a minute, but we figured it out. Overall a good place to hang out, I’d prob come back again.“

“Ok Went there for about the 15th time. Just as amazing as ever. Didn't get our usual server but had an adorable Hispanic gal who was having her first week. She was terrific! Ordered the moussaka and soup w Greek salad. Was soooo delicious. Way too much food for just one meal. Partner got the Half a baked chicken. Said it was the best he'd ever had. Moist and flavorful. So much dinner he brought some home for lunch tomorrow. Now dessert!!! Ordered bread pudding w caramel sauce and apple dumpling. Must have been a run on both cause at 6:30, both were all gone. Either the manager or owner (Latino guy) came out to our table to deliver the bad news. Super nice and helpful. We ended up with coconut creme pie and raspberry cheesecake. OMG both so delicious and huge portions. Totally forgot about what we had wanted originally. Brought half the pie home. Too big!! “Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the country. I have dined there numerous times in the past years and their standard menu is always top notch. I visited with my wife last night for the Mardi Gras themed menu and the service was more than adequate, as always. We even got to chat with Tony for a minute. If you like a cozy, casual, and friendly atmosphere mixed with seafood, spirits, and a little bit of Ft. Wayne history, give The Oyster Bar a try.“
