I had received quite a few recommendations from people to give Tolon a try. It was quite easy to set up a reservation through the Resy app and arrived to celebrate a birthday. The host was very kind and lead us to our table and we were quickly asked for drinks or appetizers. The atmosphere is nice and dark and has moderate noise but its quite easy to have a conversation. The food was superb. We were seated at a table right by the door, so the extra traffic and noise made for a less enjoyable experience. The artistic decor is quite interesting and well done, which contributes to the gastro pub vibe. The service was average. Not at all bad, but I expected a step up for what we paid per plate.
A 10 out of 10. I've been twice and each experience was unforgettable. I travel frequently and eat out often. And this place is a standout. Excellent food, even better service. Love the vibe. The food is just really really good. I mean really good..fresh, flavorful, interesting, and addictive. Looking forward to my next visit.
