I decided to try the lobster tail this time and when I was driving home I felt extremely sick to my stomach. I ended up very sick for two days! I'm not certain but I think the lobster was bad. This place isn’t just a restaurant to me — it’s a tradition, a memory, and a piece of my life that goes back more than 40 years. I have been coming here since I was a child. Some of my earliest food memories are sitting inside this historic little hot dog stand enjoying their famous coney dogs. There is just something special about this place that has never changed. The atmosphere, the smell of the grill, and the excitement of getting those delicious coneys brings back so many memories every single time I walk through the door. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.“

“We ate there this evening and the service/server was great We ordered the steak dinner and the sausage roll. The steak was spot on. However, the sausage roll was horrendous. The sauce tasted like it came out of a ravioli can. I can’t imagine serving that sauce. Another customer overheard our conversation and they both stated that they stopped eating the pizza because of the poor quality of the sauce. Highly disappointed“

“April 18,2026 The food was very good. Came as ordered. Didn’t order fries because we thought we would not be able to eat them hot for long. It was very cold in the restaurant, when you look around and everyone is eating with their coats on … not good. Person sitting behind us left to get his hoodie out if his car. Server said they only have on and off on the heating/air system!! They were planning on calling corporate about it. When we left, diners were stepping into lobby saying how cold it was in there.“

“Went to this place on a Saturday morning. Really nice looking winery but seems more of a restaurant. They have a nice menu but you might want to call ahead to see what menu is available because apparently only the brunch menu is available on the weekends.“

“I stopped by burger bar during a visit for school and it did not disappoint. Their homemade veggie burger is really good and the cheese fries were tasty. I’d recommend them for anyone looking for a good burger. It also didn’t break the bank which was an added bonus. I’ll be back for surer“

“Used the app to join the wait list and got right in with no wait. But.... sat for 23 minutes before we saw a server. Ordered a smash burger. Another 30 minutes wait for the food. Burger was room temperature at best. I've been eating out at restaurants for 45 years and I've never been served a cold burger. The kids said their pizza was good and mac n cheese was decent. Tater tots were good. Waitress was friendly and kept our drinks refilled. Over all it was a good experience. Just really surprised at the cold burger. Not sure if we will go back.“

“Birdie’s is a huge gem in the crown of Ft. Wayne! Great drinks, creative menu and bartenders/ staff are top notch! I highly recommend stopping here should you find yourself in the “Fort”. “Ok Went there for about the 15th time. Just as amazing as ever. Didn't get our usual server but had an adorable Hispanic gal who was having her first week. She was terrific! Ordered the moussaka and soup w Greek salad. Was soooo delicious. Way too much food for just one meal. Partner got the Half a baked chicken. Said it was the best he'd ever had. Moist and flavorful. So much dinner he brought some home for lunch tomorrow. Now dessert!!! Ordered bread pudding w caramel sauce and apple dumpling. Must have been a run on both cause at 6:30, both were all gone. Either the manager or owner (Latino guy) came out to our table to deliver the bad news. Super nice and helpful. We ended up with coconut creme pie and raspberry cheesecake. OMG both so delicious and huge portions. Totally forgot about what we had wanted originally. Brought half the pie home. Too big!! “I just had the Shrimp Creole and it was delicious!! It was the “special of the day” and was so good, it should be on the menu. Billy, the sous chef, made it from scratch. All the food I’ve had there is great, so I was not surprised, but I definitely want the Shrimp Creole again.“

“Stopped in last evening for a quick bite to eat and our waitress took us to our table ...who's name was Caitlyn... (possibly a K not sure). But we had the BEST customer service that I have had in as long time. She was so Sweet and checked on us continually. She also suggested when I wanted a wrap...that I didnt have to have it with Buffalo sauce could get it just plain with ranch. When she bought the food she said, "Would you like an extra side of ranch". I thought that was so kind. Then when she bought boxes to the table for our left overs she bought a lid for my ranch and a sack to Carry our containers in...ALL without me asking. I asked for the manager to come to the table for her to be recognized for her impeccable customer service!! He said, " He appreciated me bringing that to his attention". I made sure she got an excellent tip for her Kind , caring and quality customer service. BUT I ALSO THINK SHE DESERVES A 5 STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating here as well.
