“We had Mission BBQ cater our wedding and they did absolutely amazing! The whole staff were the absolute sweetest people and we are so grateful to have them be a part of our special day! The food was amazing, we had so many compliments from guests. There was only one hiccup that was not their fault and they handled it so well. They truly care about what they do. “Came in on a Friday night with a couple friends and the place had a nice, laid back vibe. It wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated since we actually wanted to talk. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was pretty solid, juicy and cooked how I asked. The wings were decent too, good flavor but not crazy spicy. Service took a little while when it got busy, but our server kept checking in and was friendly the whole time. Prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, it’s a reliable neighborhood bar & grill and I’d go back again.“

“We live down in Waynedale and for the longest time we had a good smoked BBQ at Jefferson Point. Never had a reason to go far afield. But then it closed leaving a hole in my stomach that couldn’t be filled with fast food BBQ! So we headed north and found Lucille’s.

We arrived shortly after they opened and looked at their menu. I went with my usual wings (smoked, then fried) with the Brussels sprout side and hubby got a burnt end sammich with the smoked poblano Mac and cheese. We were so very pleased to find another great bbq place in Fort Wayne! My meal was really good, almost as good as our favorite place in Florida. My husband said his burnt ends were better! But in my opinion, there isn’t another bbq place in town that is good. It will become my restaurant of choice when we go to Sam’s Club.

During our time there, there was a steady stream of customers in and out. Except for us, because of the chicken wings, most people got their meals within five minutes.

We visited with one of the owners who told us Lucille was her grandmother who loved to eat bbq but never made it herself. What a sweet memorial to her granny!“

I realize that it's a little pricey but please remember that they are not a big business they're not going to have access to cheaper prices for their products so I understand why their price points are where they are but the food tastes amazing! I will definitely be back!“

“I tried Shigs in Pit for the first time today and Wow were the ribs ever delicious. They were like country style ribs and literally so tender and moist they truly melted in your mouth. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for ribs from now on. Excellent!!! Maplecrest location.“

“My church had NSH to cater our Pastor Annv and the food was delicious. We had fried chicken wings, Mac n cheese and yams and everything was very good. What surprised and pleased me was the sweet potato was fresh, not can. So many would have taken the short cut and used can sweet potatoes. We will definitely use them for events at the church from now on. The atmosphere rating is based on their corporation and how profession they were. Ty NSH“

“This was my 1st time having it. It was suggested to me so many times but I'm very skeptical, plus I don't like food I'm not familiar with. But this place....I'm such a foodie and a critic because I can make the same if not better. It's just nice to grab a quick bite after 80+ hrs of work a week. “I ate lunch here today, food was good. Men’s restroom was terrible, urine all around urinal floor! The whole bathroom floor was disgusting! Didn’t look like it had seen a mop in a week! Might have to leave my shoes outside tonight ! C’mon you can do better than this! Totally unacceptable!!!“
