“I just had my first visit to Bru Burger Bar in Fort Wayne, and it was fantastic! They welcomed me right away super kind and professional. The menu had plenty of great options, but I went with “The Beginning,” a classic burger. It was cooked perfectly, super tasty, and even the fries were awesome. Their house sauce was sweet and delicious it was a nice bonus. The place itself is stylish, with funky designs on the walls, and the whole staff was on point/attentive, professional, and always one step ahead. I never had to ask for a thing! For dessert, we had a vanilla milkshake with caramel 💣absolutely perfect. Overall, highly recommend this spot! I’ll definitely be back soon. When you go make sure to ask for jaxson. “Had the pleasure of dining st Bravas for the 1st time....I must say that the Peanut butter Burger was not only exceptional but one of the best Burgers I've ever had. “Birdie’s is a huge gem in the crown of Ft. Wayne! Great drinks, creative menu and bartenders/ staff are top notch! I highly recommend stopping here should you find yourself in the “Fort”. They went above and beyond for us. They brought free grape drinks for our kids, brought us water, then brought sherbet for the kids when we were done eating. Excellent establishment!“

The onion rings were incredible, the Twisted Mozzarella Sticks were a must-have, and upgrading the fries to the Parmesan Garlic Fries was absolutely worth it. I had a burger that was really good, and Shannon's chicken sandwich was even better.

“Used the app to join the wait list and got right in with no wait. But.... sat for 23 minutes before we saw a server. Ordered a smash burger. Another 30 minutes wait for the food. Burger was room temperature at best. I've been eating out at restaurants for 45 years and I've never been served a cold burger. The kids said their pizza was good and mac n cheese was decent. Tater tots were good. Waitress was friendly and kept our drinks refilled. Over all it was a good experience. Just really surprised at the cold burger. Not sure if we will go back.“

“Steak ’n Shake came through for us years ago when we needed family meals that didn’t wreck the budget. Back then we had a full crew to feed, and places that could feed everybody well without spending a fortune mattered.

Good burgers, good shakes, good value — and it became one of those easy family stops where everybody could find something they liked.

Coming back years later has been fun because Steak ’n Shake keeps evolving too. On a recent visit I noticed the newer menu direction, the touchscreen ordering, the focus on efficiency, and the classic Steak ’n Shake feel still hanging on.

I also spotted the Bitcoin Steakburger and had to try it.

The first time, the bun branding tool was down, so I left with unfinished business. The employee was cool about it and explained what was going on, which I appreciated.

I came back on June 9, 2026, and this time the mission was complete.

The Bitcoin Steakburger was excellent. The stamped bun is a fun detail, but the real win was the burger itself. It was hot, flavorful, and felt like Steak ’n Shake putting a little extra personality into the experience. The beef tallow fries were outstanding too.

I respect places that keep their classic identity but still try new things. Steak ’n Shake has always been a solid stop for burgers, fries, and shakes, but this visit reminded me why it still has a place in the family story.

Good food, good value, efficient ordering, and a little bit of fun on top.

“I was there last night 2/14. There was a group 10 women. Our server was Angel . She was an amazing server. She was so capable of explaining anything about the menu...very prompt with taking our drink orders and having them to us in a very timely manner. Angel has a knack for making customers feel very comfortable. She is one if the best servers I have had in a very long time. She was always smiling and has an awesome personality. I desire ice cream everyday! Multiple times a day!! My favorite blizzard treat is the Brownie Batter Blizzard!! This location is the ONLY location in all of Fort Wayne, Bluffton and Markle, that actually makes it proper!!! I always get a large Brownie Batter Blizzard at least 4 days a week. Some days I’ve even stopped in twice for a large BBBlizzard. The large get 4 scoops or Brownie Batter with 4 scoops of the brownie bits. All the other locations I’ve stopped at do, 1-2 scoops of batter and maybe 2 scoops of brownie bits. I’ve had 2 locations complain they don’t do the 4 scoops of batter because it’s thick and makes the blizzard hard to make. Well I’m sorry, this is part of your job description and that’s what makes this blizzard what it is!! Make it right, or don’t make it at all!! This location though, they do it right all the time!!

The staff here really are great people. The friendliest face that I’ve got used to seeing on my near daily stop is Elijah. I have had several interactions with Elijah and he’s a wonderful person/employee with what I’ve seen as showing great character, a great personality, a positive attitude, great work ethic and always serves and greets with a smile. Elijah wanting to be better at his job asked me out of curiosity, what I believe is the best way to make the blizzard knowing it is a pain to make but It really is best making half/half. Take large cup fill half way with ice cream, 2 scoops of batter, 2 scoops of brownie bits and mix then add the rest of the ice cream, 2 more scoops of batter and bits and mix. Once completed, you are left with perfection that keeps me coming back day after day until the batter runs out. Sadly, I Then have to wait around for next BBBlizzard season.

This DQ location really needs to partake in employee of the month initiatives and honor Elijah with the admirable praise he deserves followed by recognition of the other great employees that make this location the best and only pick for all my DQ Cravings!!“
