“I love the atmosphere of this place. Its like a small town spot with big interior. And lots of friendly workers. I came here on a Monday afternoon. As I am in town for the 2024 eclipse. And was looking for a spot by my hotel to have a nice meal. And boy I found it. For about 30 bucks with coke and taxes I got 3 meat choices and 2 sides. And one of the meats is their brisket. Great portions for the cost of this plate. I will definitely have leftovers for dinner. Love it.Parking: I was able to park on side of road in front of restaurant. For free. Great parking location.“

“So, my fiance decided to try here after hearing good things.I had the tenderloin sandwich with fries as side. The service was good, and the staff were friendly.The food was okay. The fries were the thick, crinkle kind, obviously fried. The tenderloin was also thick, kind, and fried. Indiana is typically famous for large, thin tenderloins, so this took me by surprise. The flavor was okay. The inside was a little mushy. Maybe it could have been cooked slightly longer.The restaurant was nice.“

“I love coming here. This last visit the server was clearly not wanting to serve us and was over heard complaining that she was not cut off the floor and another server had been. Another server stepped in which is great teamwork. However, I would love to have my dirty plates cleaned up and timely refills. Of course I will be back. Just wanted to share in hopes the owners can improve their business. Always good food. Always.“

“On first entering the restaurant it has this plain feel to it, feels more like an old penguin point but everything changes when the food comes out, it has authentic taste, I haven't had that in some time and if your extra lucky every once in a while you can hear the cook sing which is quite shocking, he's not bad. I'm shocked they are not busy every night. I hope you have as wonderful experience as I have.“
