Came from Ohio because I always wanted to try it - we walked in and got seated - we were overwhelmed with the choices but we had the best waitress ever AUBREY ! she took the time to explain everything and helped us decide our 3 meat platter. It was served quickly and it was so amazing along with the competition sweet sauce ! I’m finicky about bbq sauce but it was so good we bought some to take home - Aubrey came back to chat with us to tell us other options to try next time...read full review
Very happy I finally made it to Soul Pig BBQ. Bologna sandwich was so delicious. Portions are large but the taste was the best!! Friendly, helpful staff.

Soul Pig BBQ offers mouth-watering, fall-off-the-bone ribs and tender brisket that impresses even the most seasoned travelers. The restaurant has a cozy, small-town atmosphere with friendly staff and generous portions at a reasonable price. For around $30, guests can enjoy three meats and two sides, with leftovers to spare. The ribs are excellent with a great smoky flavor and tender, melts in your mouth. The wings are so good. The wait staff are great, very polite and offered suggestions when asked. The service was really fun and easy to order with. The bar side has booths that may be a tight squeeze for a big person. The potato salad was made different than ever had before and the coleslaw was good with excellent taste. Overall, Soul Pig BBQ is known for its amazing brisket, quick service, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite spot in Decatur.
