“Visited Cinco de Mayo Taqueria attached to the Shell station in front of Menards. I have never been to either location so this was a new one for me. The food is excellent! I had the special from the Whiteboard in the store. Two Sopes served with rice and a drink. The Sopes were very good. I got Chicken Tinga and Chorizo and Egg. Both were very flavorful and seemed very authentic. The Chorizo and Egg Sope was my favorite of the two.

Atmosphere suffers at this location because it's attached to the Shell station. There are two four top tables one two top table and approximately seven bar stools/counter facing the gas station window. 😁 It's the best they can do and the location. But the food was really good. I will have to try and visit the other location.“

The food was amazing, service amazing and the restaurant its self was so beautiful. You guys went above and beyond for me and my family. I recently moved to Fort Wayne from Arizona (where great Mexican cuisine is around every corner) and was pleasantly surprised to find a Mexican restaurant that I would recommend to friends back home. The mole sauce is truly a 'wow' experience; not for the uninitiated, but for those who know what mole is and are seeking the real deal, give this restaurant a try. Have already been back for a second visit, and found their green enchilada also very good. Even the chips and salsa are a superior flavor.“

“I haven't ate here in a few years. The salsa was spot on. Lots of flavor. Waitress was very patient and helpful as we 5 kids under the age of 9. She was very attentive and refills were brought. Everyone finished their food and left full. I always get the steak in chile verde. No Mexican restaurant comes near how tasteful the chile verde is ! Thank you mi parilla for the great experience.“

“This is good authentic Mexican food. You can buy tamales by the dozen on some days. I live 45 minutes away and only visit Fort Wayne so often. Even if I am not able to eat in the restaurant, I stop in at the store. I pick up some their salsa, Tortillas, or tamales if they have some.“

“I had a pretty good experience here and would definitely consider coming back. The menu has a nice mix of different dishes, so it was easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. “5 stars! We had a great experience at Cinco de Mayo, and I especially want to recognize Aniyah for her wonderful service. We unexpectedly had a medical emergency come up and needed to leave much sooner than planned. She was incredibly attentive and quickly helped get our orders switched from dine-in to takeout so we could get going without any added stress.

She was kind, helpful, and handled everything so smoothly during a difficult moment. On top of the great service, all of the food was excellent. We really appreciated how well we were taken care of and will definitely be back!“

“My wife and I love this place! It is our favorite place to come and enjoy authentic tacos. My wife (who is from Mexico 🇲🇽) loves this place and I can light up her face with just asking if she wants to come to El Amish!! She loves the beef tongue pork and bbq. Every type of flavor they have is amazing she says. Myself, I get the marinade pork cuz I have always enjoyed it. They add a sautéed onion with the food and 4 sauces and more than enough for us. Come here if you want the good tacos 🌮“

“I am in Fort Wayne, IN on business and found this gem! The steak tacos are divine! The tacos are on the small side but are FULL of flavorful steak. Two tacos filled me up. You have to try this place!“

“I've been to Lalo's three times now. It's quickly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Ft.Wayne. Casa Grande was my favorite, but now I prefer Lalo's. First time there, the service was good, food was okay, though not as hot as I would've liked, more lukewarm. However the second visit was better, food was hot and delicious. Ate there a third time a couple nights ago and food was hot and service was fast and friendly. I recommend the Lalo's burrito and the classic ground beef chimichanga, both come with delicious refried beans and rice. I love Lalo's~! Be advised though, Fridays and Saturdays are busy there. Best to go earlier in the week.“

“Dan Chava’s is incredible! Their chips and queso go crazy, if you want to add some flavor add their chorizo! It’s incredible!
They also have very good margaritas snd have a variety of flavors too!
Their whole menu is delicious. I have never had anything that was bad at this restaurant! I highly recommend their enchiladas, fajita quesadilla and their carne asada tacos!
Side note the green sauce that comes on some of the enchiladas I substitute for queso and have them put the green sauce on the side. It is tasty but has a kick to it!“

“I have been to this restaurant many times, and I always have great service. The food is always good. The price is awesome for the amount of food you get. I have nothing bad to say about this place. My daughter and I went there today, and the total bill was 38 bucks. Not bad at all. I left full and satisfied and I also have leftovers for later. Will be back soon!“

“I’m a trucker and I have been craving a burrito (specifically from a taco truck) but those are hard to find here. Found this place and I must say, MY BURRITO WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Only thing they can do better is giving a little Radish, Cucumber, onions pr jalapeno on the side and a bigger (or more) salsa on the side. The other stuff I have on my own💕“

“This place could be bigger or update the space inside for dining in HOWEVER, my family is from Guatemala and I’m from Chicago/NWI and finding good authentic family food is hard but this place is soooo good. Great for carry out orders. I get the zucchini and cheese pupusas or the bean and cheese and with the cabbage and sauce you get is soooo good when all paired together. 10/10 food, prices and service. Also the Piña is sooo good😍😍 especially so big for the price!! I will say order ahead of time because this place does get busy especially on the weekends so I’ll order 20-30 minutes in advance for my carry out order. Can’t beat the prices for the amount of food. I can feed 3 adults for $30-$35!! Only thing I can give to the owner as far as constructive criticism is more bilingual people for phone service, add silverware/ napkins in the bag & update the space inside or open another location for better dining in purposes ☺️ I would love to eat inside with a big family!
