Visited Cinco de Mayo Taqueria attached to the Shell station in front of Menards. I have never been to either location so this was a new one for me. The food is excellent! I had the special from the Whiteboard in the store. Two Sopes served with rice and a drink. The Sopes were very good. I got Chicken Tinga and Chorizo and Egg. Both were very flavorful and seemed very authentic. The Chorizo and Egg Sope was my favorite of the two.

Don’t over look this Gem! The ladies were incredible, and the portion size was perfect.
We stopped on our way through Ft Wayne while heading to Indy. Trusted the reviews to not judge based on it being in a gas station and so glad we did! The food was delicious with generous portions. We even stopped on our way back and had an equally great experience the second time. This will likely be a routine stop for us !

Cinco De Mayo Taqueria is a restaurant in Fort Wayne. The food is always very tasty and comes out very quick. It is one of the best Mexican meals in Fort Wayne, with exceptional food at a fair price. The ingredients are very fresh. The salsa has deep flavor without being very spicy, and the chips & salsa are a favorite in town. The ribeye tacos are full of flavor with very tender steak. The chicken tacos have a fresh grilled flavor, and the carnitas are NOT dry. The tacos are some of the best in town, closest to authentic and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, helpful, and incredibly kind. The atmosphere is good, though the restaurant is in a gas station, which does not affect the food. The space is clean and inviting. Despite the location, this place completely exceeded expectations. It is a must try.
