This used to be my go to spot, but the service has declined throughout the last 4 years. I was always a regular for lunches, but then it took a turn when I started going for dinners. Not the best place in town but not a bad option if you are looking for a standard mexican restaurant.
Very attentive staff. Not too many there , but the staff did an excellent job in explaining the menu's choices, and the food was great, and hot .Margaritas were great, too.Cudos all around. !!

We've been eating here and ordering carryout for years. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing when dining in. Lately, we have been ordering carryout mostly, and our order gets messed up almost every time. I don't know if they are just being careless or seizing an opportunity to save money, but it has grown to be very annoying.Don Chava' s is no longer my first go-to for a great carryout dinner.
