“I have to update my review. I had a blast last night @ the best little dive bar in Peru. I had so much fun @ the Halloween party and it's great having a place like this too go out dancing and let your hair down. There's not many places to go and have fun (adulting) in a small town. The band Weird Science was so freaking awesome and they played all 80's music. Love them and they ROCK!!! This is my new favorite place to hang out at and the locals are great ✌️ FYI The skeleton guy never said a word all night and he made the perfect date. 🤣🤣🤣💀

First time I've been at Nickel Plate Saloon and I really enjoyed myself. When I walked in I was greeted and people were introducing themselves. I had a lot of fun playing pool. The atmosphere, music, staff and people in general were great.“

“Love this little hometown bar. It is one of our favorite hangouts. Games, drinks, sports, great food, occasional live music, awesome holiday parties, and even campfires on the weekends. Great people, great vibes, cold beer. What more could you ask for.“

“It is a nice place to shoot pool and socialize with friends. The bar staff are usually friendly people especially Joshua and Catt. They have a Band or DJ at least 1 or 2 times a month and they have a great new age music player with reasonable pricing. The owners are also very nice people if you don't drink too much and cause a scene. It is also a smoking establishment.“

“Dalton and patty are rockstars (also the rest of the team)! i ordered a sweet tea and it was out, patty made me my own little pitcher out of the kindness of her heart. Excellent service everytime! The Tommy gun and the silent shot are my go to orders never had a bad meal!“

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!“
