The Dash-in is one of our favorite downtown restaurants. This last visit I had a salad and had an avacado cream dressing that was so good I could eat it by the spoonful. We like eating indoors and on their small patio in the summer.
The Dash-In is such a vibe. It has some of the best sandwiches in the Fort, which are their various iconic grilled cheeses. And don't forget the tomato soup (or the kettle chips) on the side - it's to die for! Service is always friendly and the place is cozy, historic, and has a lot of greenery and decorations. I love it!
What a fantastic visit! I had the black bean Benedict, the spicy yellow grits, the crab rangoon grilled cheese, and the Italian roasted red pepper creamy pesto soup.
