“I go here frequently! My favorite thing is the playboy roll made vegan and fried tofu appetizer. Sometimes if it’s a special occasion we will ask them to make us any sushi that is vegan and it always turns out great. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-25“

Boba drinks are a nice sweet treat as well, the matcha tea has a good flavor and is not too sweet or too bitter like a lot of other places I’ve tried, it’s just right.
Great place to come for lunch especially if you’re working on eating better but enjoy takeout 👍🏽“

“My wife and I had an eye doctor appointment, and we decided to check out Shoccu, which was a couple doors down. The restaurant was clean with a simple yet, very appealing wood theme throughout. Our waitress was awesome, and the food was too. Shame on me, I did not take any pictures of our food, but I can tell you it was an appealing presentation. The sushi rolls were amazing. I plan to go back for another round and get some pics. If you happen to be close by, put Shocco on the to-do list because bold savory flavors, crispy textures, and a full belly await you. Oh, as per the waitress, REAL WASABI! BONUS!

“I have passed by this place a hundred times over the years and never thought anything of it. I recently moved to the area and wanted something out of the ordinary for dinner tonight because the kids were off doing their things. I got a spicy kani roll and a tempura asparagus roll. They were absolutely delicious. The taste, texture, sauce, and ingredients were all supreme. The best that I have had in years. The miso ramen was outstanding. It was the perfect combination of salt, sour, crunch, and slurp. We will definitely frequent more often.“

“I ordered takeout tonight, and it was excellent! The food arrived correctly, and the spicy mayo was on point! Other sushi places don’t taste like this one! The size of the rolls were bigger than what I was expecting, which is a major win! Pricing is good, and I will be ordering again!“
