La Margarita is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Fort Wayne! It's been my go-to place for over 40 years. Please help support our local family-owned businesses. You won't be disappointed with this one.
Been around for 60 years so they must be doing something right. The enchiladas are the best I’ve found east of Tucson, gravy is exceptional. I get the cheese with onions and extra gravy. Nachos are also outstanding.
The food here is very good, the drinks are great (try a Long Island or a Cadillac Margarita), and the servers are wonderful (they greet me by name everytime I go)! The only thing that I would change is the salsa - they do smooth salsas with minimal lime and cilantro, while I prefer a thicker, more flavorful style (I mix all three flavors toether and add some salt & pepper to suit my taste). All around a great place!
