Out of all the spots I tried during my ~2-week stay in Fort Wayne, McAlister’s Deli was the only place I came back to—and not just once, but three times total. That says a lot.
I had the King Club (I think that’s what it was called), and it hit the spot every single time. It was filling, tasty, and consistent. The staff were friendly, smiling, and checked in on me during the meal to see if I needed anything—small gesture, but appreciated.
This location set the bar high, and now I’ll be keeping an eye out for McAlister’s in other cities when I travel. Here’s hoping they live up to the Fort Wayne experience!

I had the BLT + A half sandwich, with a cup of soup, broccoli and cheese, and both were spectacular. I also ordered an iced tea to go. They have the best. I barely had to wait and they were quite busy and this was just before noon at the Fort Wayne location of Illinois Road.

Not bad pretty fresh good for the price. Only thing I didn’t like was the sandwich was cut in small pieces;so meat fell out. overall pretty delicious. Would recommend

Had an employee appreciation meal delivered and everything was absolutely! There is a great variety and everyone was pleased with their meals. Personally, I had a customized spud with cheddar cheese, broccoli, bacon, butter & sour cream and it was amazing!
The only thing this place has going for it is that they have good space. It means I can be as far away from the kitchen as possible when they’re making the moldy food.

I've never been to McAlisters before and I happened to be around Jefferson Pointe today, so I though I would give it a try. Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back!
