Mercado is great. Fun atmosphere with awesome service! The food is flavorful, unique, and spicy if you want it. I like their Broken Spanish tacos and their chicken sandwich. There's also some fun art on the walls!

We dined at Mercado tonight with a group of people. We were seated immediately and staff was great. However none of the people in our group were happy with the food. The taco chips tasted stale and my husband’s food was very greasy ( Taco pork belly and taco chorizo )The prices were high for the amount of food we received. Maybe it was an off night for them. I just know we will not return and I hate that as we love going to the landing to eat. I want to say the restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely

We chose Mercado to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our service was awesome from start to finish. The staff was excellent and recommended their favorite dishes. We had trouble deciding between the popular tacos and the loaded carne asada fries. Our server recommended doing a half order of the fries with two tacos. If we hadnt already enjoyed sharing two appetizers, this would have been a perfect dinner portion.
The dip trio was fantastic. The salsa was bright and vibrant. The queso was smooth, creamy, and well seasond. The guacamole made for a refreshing bite in between the other two dips. The superior appetizer of the night was the warm side of elotes street corn. Mercado served this dish off the cob and we utilized the chips we had from our dip trio to scoop it all up. The elotes was so good! I could have eaten 3 servings of it without getting tired if it. This is a great snack dish if you find yourself anywhere on the Landing with an appetite.
My tacos were excellent. I had zero complaints. The carne asada fries were even better than the tacos. The burst of umami from the layers of flavor in the fries made for my favorite bite of the night. If you only get one thing when you come to Mercado, it should be the carne asada fries.
For her birthday dessert my wife chose the flourless chocolate torte. She has a gluten sensitivity and this made for a perfect end to the night. The kitchen even served this with a large sparkler that burned bright for the whole restaurant to see. Thanks to all the staff for helping us celebrate my wife and make her feel special. We can't wait for our next visit.

Mercado serves up a menu unlike anything else I’ve had before. I think the concept is fresh and the food delicious. We’ve always had a great experience, but you need a reservation on busy nights to avoid a long wait.
For lunch, you order prior to sitting down at the cash register. they also ask you for a tip at that time as you pay prior to getting served. I didn’t have cash, so I put in the standard 20 percent. We got our food and never once did a server come back. I had an empty water cup and even had to get up to go get my own to go box. If I would have had any additional needs I would have had to fetch a server. The food was just ok this time, not sure why, it definately has been better. Terrible service. Terrible way of doing things, never have experienced this at a sit down restraunt. Never will go back nor will the people I was with. We were all baffled.

Food was decent quality. Was with a large group so I understand a lack of refills but when I get up to refill my tea which was still full to the rim with ice, told by bartender that I need to buy another one. I look over and nobody at the ordering station. For 54$ I think a refill should be included especially since the cup is 85% ice. Next time be sure to order tea-no ice, then ask for an extra cup of ice. Felt very petty for the bartender to say that considering our group just made this place bank. She didn’t even offer to sell me a tea just shooed me away.

We were staying close by in a hotel. Came here once on a suggestion from the locals. Came back 2 more times. Perfect location, atmosphere, service, food, drinks, all the above. Steaks were cooked spot on, and the sides were delicious. Lunch or dinner, this is a wicked casual spot for amazing food!
