Super cute cafe with some unique and traditional options for entrees, sides, and drinks! They didn't skimp on the sausage for the biscuits and gravy, the 1/2 order was really good and super filling. Good service and decent prices too! Just an FYI, we were looking for an older single building as shown in the of the photos, this cafe was actually in one of the buildings on the courthouse square!

Great twist on a corner diner. Quaint atmosphere. Good options with fruit and veggies. Had the hummus schwarma pita. Loaded with black bean hummus, spinach, cucumbers, salsa etc. a bit too much tzatziki space but would not stop me from ordering again. I stopped in on my way from Fort Wayne to Chicago. Will stop by on my way through again

A favorite place to go, always a clever menu with something unique to choose from. Wonderful desert selections, friendly servers and a cozy dining atmosphere. My kids are picky at times but Pickles always has something new that interests us or a standard menu item we enjoy. The food and friendly staff make dining at Pickles so enjoyable that we drive 20 minutes to the Columbia City location and consider each dining experience a delightful treat!Vegetarian options: They have dishes for non-meat eaters like my daughter. I enjoy the hummus and vegetables on a sandwich which is amazing!Kid-friendliness: My kids love it, friendly staff and fun decor make it a plus for them.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, staff is always willing to move a table to arrange better accommodation for anyone handicapped.

I’ve always loved the eclectic vibe of the restaurant, it’s quirky and cute and unique. I love how every dish is a presentation in itself, out of the norm and delicious. The staff is always Friendly and efficient. And I love that it’s a small, hometown business, not a boring, average chain restaurant. If I still lived in Columbia City, I would be there weekly, if not more.

As soon as my sister and I walked into the restaurant at around 930am the dining room was empty and filled with smoke from the kitchen. We were politely seated and after a few minutes chose our meals from the breakfast menu. We both chose omelets and the queso-potato casserole. When the food arrived we asked the waitress for ketchup, tobasco sauce, and sour cream. The waitress came back and put a handful of ketchup packets on the table and told us they don't have sour cream or bottled ketchup. Like what non-fast food restaurant doesn't have ketchup bottles and sour cream? The queso-potato casserole was cold. Hey chef, you can't put a thermometer in after you warm it up or notice there is no heat coming from the bowl. Even the bowl was cold.. Wow! Still gave a $10 dollar tip because the waitress was set-up to fail.
