The Village Tap Reviews
We have been regulars at the Village Tap for YEARS since we lived in the ‘05. The food is awesome, prices are great, drinks are REAL and the staff are the best part. We try to sit at Emily’s table because she is like sunshine itself.
The quality has gone down as the prices have increased. Spent $81 dollars and was disappointing. Fries were dried out, uneatable, and looked like something that needed buried. There were a few good ribs but not to justify the cost. Won't recommend or return. Is not like the rib room was. Go somewhere else for ribs.
Stopped in for a couple of drinks with my wife after dinner on Saturday night. The vibe was great—lively and welcoming. The music was a bit loud, but that might just be me getting old. The staff was friendly, though they spent more time chatting with the regulars than the other tables. Can’t blame them—I’m just jealous I’m not one of them yet!

The Village Tap is a popular spot, known for its great selection of beers and cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of options, including yummy vegetarian choices, and delicious dishes like the ribs and the Fried Portabella mushrooms, which are worth the trip. The vibe is lively and welcoming. The food has consistently impressed, competing with any restaurant in town. Drinks are strong, and many consider the brisket sandwich and hand-cut fries to be the best they've had in a long time. The food quality stands out in the laid-back vibe, making this place a hidden gem. The Village Tap is the perfect neighborhood bar and hangout, carrying on great local food traditions along with new, soon-to-be classics.
