This placed changed owners a few months back and now the staff is as welcoming and friendly as the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying this place if you want something different and you're in the area.

It may just look like an old Long John Silver's...because it is. Ha! But, Wow! Literally never disappointed. The food is SO fresh, always HOT, and it's super affordable. You can get lunch for less than fast food these days if you get a special most of the time. It's my favorite little spot. :) The staff are always very polite & welcoming as well! If you like Sushi, but aren't into the "raw fish" deal, try the spicy crab stick roll! And, the Lobster Rangoon is?. We are very lucky to have them here in Frankfort!

Had to wait 30 min to get order taken. then took another 30 minutes to get food. there was only two other tables of four In restaurant. I had to ask for a refill and for a drink that was ordered 10 min before. Ordered soba noodles with two meals and they were forgotten until food was almost gone. This place is usually slow, but this was terribly slow. Would not recommend dining in. Carry out is definitely better.

Food wasn’t very good. Everything tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil. Sushi was okay but lunch meal was not. Service was also rough. We were the only customers in there and they still got our order wrong. They fixed it but you could tell dude didn’t wanna be there. With how nice the inside is they could make a lot of money if the food were any good

My son got shrimp and soba noodles. It was large portion and very good. My husband and I both got sushi. It was the absolute smallest rolls I have ever seen. Way over priced. Two rolls didn't fill us up.

Yamato in Frankfort has had a big redemption arc for me; Over the years it has made small changes that makes the overall experience a lot better. I think some menu items are a bit overpriced considering the quality, but their Bento Boxes and Hibachi meals are great for the price.The scallops tend to be a bit gritty, but otherwise tasty. The biggest disappointment for me is Yamato no longer serving Udon soup; Udon was my partners favorite option on the menu, and we would often do Yamato nights just so they could enjoy the soup. However, they other changes they have made ingredient wise have helped ease that loss for both of us.

Very good. Excellent quality food. We have been going here since they opened. Much, much better since the rude guy is gone. Tonight's server was outstanding!
The food is hands down some of the best food in Frankfort, of any cuisine. The service, however, was VERY slow. We got there at 6 and didn’t leave until after 8, and we had to take some of our food to go. Regardless, the food was SO good. Will definitely be coming here again.

I absolutely love coming to eat here. The food is amazing. It tastes fresh. The texture is satisfying and it is all very well made. And the way the plate it looks so fancy. The interior decorations are pleasant to look at and the room colors are easy on the eyes. The service is fantastic and the menu does a great job of translating the food names to english so I never feel confused

Food was good, but very bad custmer service. When my plate came out it had more rolls then I was expecting but thought it was normal, as I hadn't ordered it before. When the bill came I saw they double ordered and asked them kindly to fix it. The waiter wanted to argue and bill me for there mistake and was very rude. I couldn't tell of it was an honest mistake or if I was being scammed. Won't be going there again unless something changes.
