I ordered a 10 inch layer cake from 1823 Bakehouse. This was for a person with a significant number of dietary restrictions. I called around to several other bakeries that offer gluten free cakes, but none of them could, or would, handle an order like this one. 1823 made a fantastic cake that met all of the restrictions that the person that the cake was for had. Even people who aren't gluten free loved this cake. It was really good. The owner, and her staff, were great...

Such a great place to eat as a person with celiac. The owner is lovely. The food is fantastic. My favorite it the biscuits and gravy.

It's great to have a a dedicated gluten free restaurant in Central Indiana as there aren't many. The service and atmosphere was nice but the baked goods had far too much sugar that it canceled out the flavor. They even ice the muffins.
