Crack chicken has found a new home in Northwest Indiana. A Chicago favorite now in Gary. Same addicting taste as usual. Fried and seasoned to perfection. Take your pick. They got chicken, shrimp, perch, liver, gizzard, catfish, etc. They're frying up everything except cats and dogs. If you got a fat back, this is where it's at. Fellas, if your girl is lacking in the back seat department.
You might want to start investing in a bucket of chicken for her every week. Winner winner chicken dinner?

I didn’t know this location was here. I was actually in town to hear Dr. Umar speak in Gary. When I got off the highway, I saw it and knew it had to try it. The one in indianapolis is horrible but I had heard good things about Harold’s in general. I’ve never been to any of the one in Chicago but I will tell you this is some of the best fries chicken I’ve had. The seasoning is on point and the chicken is fried perfectly and delicious. Must try.

Please never ever eat here. This was my second time. The first time was awful when they cut my damn chicken breast in half this time I said OK just let me get some wings. The grease is old. You could literally taste the flour This is horrible. I’m telling y’all do not eat here.

I literally just ordered a 10pc wing an a small perch .. Fish fried to perfection 10/10 but my 10pc wing was hard as bricks…not only was it fried way too hard u can just tell that it was old chicken… I’ve been eating chicken wings for 42 years I know the difference in fresh chicken vs old chicken … I don’t kno what happened to this place it used to be very good but I guess since it has new ownership the quality is not the same … I’m sorry to write this but after multiple attempts to keep patronizing even after my orders were not edible that’s the last $43.00 I will ever spend ….

1st time here....my girl loved the catfish & was so happy they were steaked. Just missing a little salt & pepper. I was happy with the gizzards. If their food quality stays good, we won't need to go to Dyer Harold's. The people that I dealt with were cordial, so no complaints.
